I do think that George W. Bush legitimately cares about the welfare of Americans, however, it is not necessarily his top priority (which it should be for a person in his position). Besides, it is irrelevant what he thinks. It is what he DOES that matters, and he's nearly destroyed us. Our economy has nosedived from the Clinton days, our military is spread thin, our citizens are getting stupider, and there arent too many promising replacements.

do we need ask? Nope. Bush sucks. He lost the popular vote in the fist electrion and continues to lose it since. I hope Hilary Clinton runs for president. Too bad we can't change the constitution and have Bill Clinton as president again.
The Bush family has been plotting for presidential power since the 1960's and has continued to make our country worse since the first Bush in the 80's.
They are a bunch of money hungry, selfish individuals that don't understand what it means to do good for an entire nation. A nation is only as strong as it's weakest link, and if we still have hunger and poverity here then we need to deal with whats at home before we put our noses in other countries business.

Bush cares for 2 people - himself and Dick Cheney. He doesn't give a crap about the American people. If he did, he wouldn't be vetoing the stem cell research bill which recently passed Congress and which holds so much promise for curing disease. If he did, he would bring the troops home from Iraq and wouldn't be breaking up homes by making widows of wives and making it so some children will never know their father. If he did, he'd do something about global warming which threatens to ruin the planet.
But, all that loser really cares about is himself and his buddy Cheney - and maybe Condi who he probably has a back room thing going with - and his place in history. He doesn't give a crap about the American people.

ROFL...uh, no. He cares for only money, power and control. The "little people" are just used for his amusement as pawns, which is obvious by some of the things he's done in the last few years especially. I don't consider him "my president", he is simply someone that cheated in a presidential election (with the help of his party and brother in Florida) in my mind. I thank God he'll be gone soon...too bad presidents don't have just one term of office.

Yes, he cares about the American people. If he didn't then we wouldn't be fighting in Iraq. Isn't it sad, but maybe it is time for the terrorists to hit somewhere in the U.S. again, so people like you can remember....

I doubt he really cares about me, personally, but I believe that he's trying to do what's best for the country as a whole. Even if that turns out badly, I can't help but admire him for trying. It's one of those jobs where you can never please everyone, so you just have to do what you think is best.
