I am a resident alien U.S (without the green head and big eyes) I applied for U.S citizenship when I was in the Army. I didn't get an interview paper while I was in. Now that i'm out I still haven't heard from the INS. I'm wondering if they sent my interview paper work to the army and they failed to forward it to me. What should I do? If I missed my interview while in Military transist will I have to apply again and spend another 300 bucks. Also who thinks that serving in a combat zone for the U.S is proof enough of citizenship? I'm good enough to die for the U.S but still need to pay $300 and wait for it thats shameful in my opinion.

I wonder how a nation where majority of its people suffered from the holocaust can justify their overreactions to the so called terrorist Hamas. The attack on the Palestinians now is just an excuse to get to the democratically elected government of Hamas. And the one-sided use of superior firepower on children and innocent civilians armed with only stones and slings is only such a flimsy excuse for looking for a kidnapped soldier.

Destroying bridges, electricity, infrastructures, lack of water and medicine, etc,...isn't this modern genocide? For God's sake? I thought we are all the children of God, but it looks only a few are/were chosen.

I know many people that I work with that constantly complain about the United States of America, and yet they don't move anywhere else. Anyone know why that is?

Single "centralized" Govermant should be broken into regional govermant centers. Allowing more direct interaction within neighboring states controlling more of the overall tax base.
This would allow enormously improved connection to the people it serves.

Tradtional Federal Govermant should simply oversee national defense, infrastructure and transportation and interstate mediation only. All current social service functions should be directed to state and local govermant and churches

Arent cops just revenue agents for the state? They don't stop crime, there always at the crime scene after the incident, and traffic violation tickets arent to enforce safety, but just to make money for the state. I mean think about it, do you get a ticket for smoking a ciggaret while the baby is in the car?

Am I wrong in assuming that all the other countries have a problem with the US until they need help. What gets me is we can close our boarders and with the right path we can be completely self sustained we are probly one of the very few that are capable of doing so. you would figure the other countries would realize this and without our help one way or another they would crumble either economicly or be overrun by other countries.
can somone give me one good reason why this is is it jealousy issue or what.it makes no sense to me hell half the countries that complain would be under either russian, nazi,or china rule right now makes no damn sense...............

We have freedom of religion-- so long as we don't violate the Secular Humanist religious tenets currently in command of the USA. Anti-Abortion activists are put in prison for exercising free speech! Parents are separated from their children for _spanking_ them! Students AND teachers are punished for mentioning God in the classroom, despite court permission to do so, and gov't bureaucrats are fired even for having a _closed_ bible on their desks! The gov't didn't LIKE what was going on at Waco, so what did they do? They KILLED everyone! Does that sound like freedom to you??? Government is supposed to SERVE its citizens, not circumscribe and imprison them. Yet somehow, a greater percentage of Americans are rotting in prison today than in ANY other country in the world. Something is desperately wrong with this government, yet no one is speaking out about it. Doesn't anyone care anymore?

my best friend died after a year long battle with cancer -- ive lived with her son for 12 years she also has a daughter-- she called me from the hospital and i left home and went to her and never returned home until after she passed. Her children (yes the son also) accused me of forgery and alot of other things after her death -- after hiring a handwritting expert it was proven 99.993 % that in no way did i forgery anything and the courts agreed and dismissed all charges ( they were very upset that she had left me money-- not all of her money just some) in the will i helped her write we put that both her children would split everything 50/50 without me knowing she left me ownership of a few annity her inverstor would come to the house and she did this without my knowledge(and no i didnt get more than her 2 children who by the way or in their 60's) my accts which have my own moneys in them two are still frozen even after being found innocent in jan/2006 because of a state bond on the
