I commend anybody who has ever served the U.S. military even if its for one day because there are too many people who dont know anything about the U.S. military.

Not all Military does reach their twenty years and then retire, but I certainly think they are entitled to! Twenty years is a long time to serve in the Military.
My husband has been in for twenty years, and he recently extend for two more years. But you also have to realize that if you don't make rank and advance, that can force you to retire. For instance, my husband is a Chief ( E-7 ) in the Navy, but he can only stay up to so many years as a an E-7. If at some point he doesn't make Senior Chief before ( I'm not sure on how many years ) he reaches something like 24 years, he'll have to retire.
And you can't really expect every person to join the Military just because they voted for Bush! That's ridiculous.

This is coming from a vetern of the Marines and the Army:
I don't want a draft, not do I want people in the Army just becasue how they voted....
I want people in the military becasue they know how to fight and are willing TO FIGHT..
And just becasue I am not in this war, does that mean I can't vote for a president who I think is right in fighting it
Hey Tam,
Army exceeded recruiting goals for June:
and Many do stay past 20 years...

Your question defies logic and reasoning. One has nothing to do with the other. You must be an attendee of a government sanctioned child abuse indoctrination center (public school), because it is obvious you cannot put 3 random thoughts together to form an intelligent question.
FYI--Never in the history of this great Republic has ANY sitting President been defeated when at war.

Because they are RepubliTARDs or conservaTARDS. Their leader is the yellow-bellied chicken sh*t George W. bush who cowardly made sure he didn't have to serve in combat in Viet Nam.. He kept the skys of Texas safe from the Vietcong. Seeing as the Vietcong didn't attack Texas they, The RepubliTARDs, think he did an outstanding job and therefore follow his lead and vote for the likes of him. All mouth but no sense of responsibility to their country. Let the poor and working class kids serve and die in the military is the RepubliTARDs way of thinking. They themselves are the same chicken-sh*t, yellow bellied cowards.

if you join today you might go to war, who wants to die? The economy was so good for so long people can make more money on the outside. I know I did 8 years and 4 day active duty.

Not all people are able to join the military, many are too old, not selfish. Our "war" president was elected because he ran against two idiots and was the better choice. Why are you so stupid?

It is not selfishness. It is just a plan. They vote for a war president in the hope YOU will join the military.

Iraq was attacked by US troops during President Clinton's
presidency. Everyone is not cut out for military, but those who do not or can not serve have no right to criticize those who risk their lives.
