Am I wrong in assuming that all the other countries have a problem with the US until they need help. What gets me is we can close our boarders and with the right path we can be completely self sustained we are probly one of the very few that are capable of doing so. you would figure the other countries would realize this and without our help one way or another they would crumble either economicly or be overrun by other countries.
can somone give me one good reason why this is is it jealousy issue or what.it makes no sense to me hell half the countries that complain would be under either russian,nazi,or china rule right now makes no damn sense...............

This is why people dislike us... because we talk about how great we are, when we have NO CLUE what our other hand is doing...
We are the rich snob that has almost spent his entire riches, but still knows he's better than every one else... he only loves himself and is hateful to everyone else... and then he thinks the reason that people don't like him is because they are jealous of his squandered riches...
What ever happened to humility and being humble... these are two foundations of America that the current "conservative" fools have no concept of... and then they have the nerve to brandish and talk about the Bible...
And just so you know... every time you cry about how bad France is, which I'm sure you do... America probably wouldn't have won the Revolutionary war with out their help... but I guess you only keep track of other people's debts and not your own...

It's a case of jealousy. It's just like most baseball fans around the country hate the Yankees because of all their success over the years. I know I do, but it really is because I'm jealouse that the Indians haven't been as successful. We as Americans don't have to take that line of thinking though and we should still try to make the world a better place for all people whether they like us or not. I'm not talking about invading them the way George bush does though. That is so wrong.

Consider France for example. The last time they won a war was the French revolution, and they were fighting other French guys. If it wasn't for us they'd be speaking German. They know this and of course they resent us for it. We make them realize they're unable to fend for themselves. The United States has never needed another country to feed us. I think it's time for more expansion. Look at Canada, they have all that land. We should take them over. Australia would be a nice addition. When people want to come to America, we can let them go to the Yukon or the Northern territory.

I do agree that America could be self sufficient, HOWEVER... if this were to be the case America owes TRILLIONS of dollars to other countries... So If it weren't for the national debt I would agree completely on this fact... I do not agree however that all other countries have a problem with the US... We have to have allies, because logically the US is never going to be self sufficient. You have to help others and others have to help you... its like a huge family.. there are bitter fudes like in'laws. but there are others that are close... so i would have to disagree that ALL other countries are jealous... maybe some of them... not all

Actually, we are not self-sufficient. Most of the oil we get is imported. The cars we get are imported, many foods we get are imported. The video games, telephones, computers, watches, televisions, furniture, all imported. We would have a very good chanceof being called a communist country, etc... if we closed our borders. And, yes, France hates us until their a$$es need saving again. That's just the way it is.

Some countries in the world cry out for help to anyone but America is there first to try prove itself but doesnt get anywhere(vietnam for example)

Well I don't know if you understand US economy but we need enemies to keep the economy going. If we don't have them we create them. That's our bussines. Without enemies we are out of luck.
