I was banned from seeing the father of my son who has been a large part of my life for 26 yrs. Banned by the Professional Guardian court appointed a few months ago. My ex sustained severe brain injury to due to a fall from over consumption of alcohol that day. I was always by his side being his eyes, ears, and foot work. Really like his advocate, no one else stepped up to the plate to assist me for almost a year. The guardian takes over has him relocated. Our son and I were there for the transport stayed with him notice he was not fed or changed the whole entire day. The Depends he had on was dry all day into the evening. I emailed the guardian and she then decided to ban me from seeing Mike, my ex. Can this happen I have no money to hire an attorney, I am on SSD. I thought you can only be banned if you harm, abuse and interfere in the care of the patient. I believe the guardian is playing on my ignorance. It is hurting me not to see him and it has been 5 mo. since the ban was placed

Because every time I complain about Bush, some moron conservative always says "Love it or Leave it." So I'm assuming you left it when Clinton was president. If not, you should probably not say that, huh?

al gore now says global warming is a fact! theres no "proof" man's made greenhouse gases thatve effected the ecosystem, casuing higher temps. the fact is in in the mid 1980s many of these same planetary scientists sd mans pollutions (which i agree we produce too much and we need regulating) is causing COLDER temps. that we were heading into a "mini ice age" if we didnt stop (the same things) were doing! their "proof" came from temp record variations showing how much colder our planet was. the 80s showed 2-5 degrees colder from +100yrs b4. pointing to an ice age. the storms hurricanes etc were worse, then ever! and then the "MEGA Snow Storms" of the early to mid 1990s HIT the eastern seaboard! EEEK, ITS HERE ITS HERE the ICEAGE is HERE!
the superfund in 1976* had nothing to do with greenhouse effects. it was to do with corp/ag & personal accountability for polluting the environment. corporations & their dumping chemicals, farmers insecticides, & families all polluted our water tables

You always complain about the rich having all the money and they are just greedy so the government should tax all of their money away. Now that Buffet has begun to bequeath his money to charity, aren't you just up in arms that he is evading the death tax?

I just read that Superman's motto has been changed from truth, justice, and the American way to truth justice, and all that stuff. What is wrong with an American super-hero having the American way in his motto? What a bunch of hippies.

whose lives were effected by the Jim Crow Laws in the South?

Before the civil rights movement, the "separate but equal" farce provided inferior schooling and housing. Not to mention separate water fountains, restrooms, and being forced to the back of the bus.

The KKK was allowed to run rampant, burning churches and lynching people with little to no fear of prosecution.

Should the people who were treated this way be compensated? Why or why not?

I mean where does it end? First it's the right to free expression (yes, that is what flag burning is) next, it's the right to buy certain books or to gather in groups. When will the right to critisize the government become illegal? It's only a short step until Homeland Security has a toll free hotline where you can report your neighbors for "un-american" acitvities.
If you don't see a similarity between the Bush admin and the 3d Reich at this point, then you're not looking at all.

The other day, in England, a kid was sent home from school just because of his hair cut which was in the colur of the George cross. He did this to show support for England in the world cup somthing that his mother enocouraged him to do and agreed with. However his teachers described it as inappropriate.

My question therefore is why is it inappropriate to be patriotic and get behind your team??!! This competition only comes round once every four years and last for 4weeks So why cant we get behind our boys instead of having anal teachers with anal ideals. What i find really frustrating is that if a muslim is told she cannot wear a hajib, or a Seikh is told he cannot wear a turban then the word 'inappropriate' becomes 'racial descrmination' But then the Goerge cross is a symbol of this country the Turban and Hajib arenot So why are can we not express patriosim freely just like Seikhs and Muslims can seeming express religion freely??!
