No votes here, but when there is, I will be voting for anyone of any party who is willing to stand up and defend our borders! As far as I'm concerned, this issue transcends the usual Dem/GOP lines ... from now on I will vote for the individual who has America's interests at heart ... hard to find, but I'll be looking!

When I do vote, the handling of "Illegal" Immigration issue will be only part of what I am looking for in a candidate. This is a huge issue with many factor and human lives at stake on both sides of the fence. Would I love to just round them all up ship them home? You bet! Give them benefits and strain our social programs to the breaking point? HELL NO! The reality is much more complicated and all human life should be treated with dignity and respect while at the same time preserve our nations laws and security. There has to be a happy medium in this mess somewhere, I just wish that other counties would do more to help their own citizenry.

Noone, there were no votes today. However once there IS a vote I will be voting for the person that WILL do those things. This is OUR country, ours and those good people that followed the law and braved our screwed up immigration process. THOSE are the ones REALLY being screwed here.

Not sure, but I wonder what would happen if a large number of Americans went to other nations, rallied and demanded amnesty and "civil" rights without due process?

I did not realize there was a vote today.
But, we all need to realize that none of us are true Americans. We are in our hearts but, we ALL CAME FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Can we really deny anyone the chance for freedom we so easily attained? Our ancestors did the work for us.
we need to embrace those who want to make a better life here.
