Are Liberals mad Buffet is giving his money away on his own accord, NOT letting the government do it for him?

Question

You always complain about the rich having all the money and they are just greedy so the government should tax all of their money away. Now that Buffet has begun to bequeath his money to charity, aren't you just up in arms that he is evading the death tax?

Yes fact is his deceased wife was VERY liberal and in fact Planned Parenthood is a major benefactor of her trust.
My point is this, most wealthy people support charities, Liberal or Conservative. Nonetheless, Liberals on these pages seem to HATE anyone with money, saying all rich should pay extra tax just jor being successful.

Why would we be angry about that? If anything, it would be nice if there were more billionaires and millionaires who were like him. However, despite what you conservatives may like to think, taxing the rich isn't a matter of punishing the rich. When all is said and done and the rich have paid their extra bit in taxes, they still don't miss their money. After all, they still have plenty left over to spend on their villas in Tuscany and their Gucci bags.

The irony is that a man who is very quiet about his politics is giving away 85% of his wealth, thus fulfilling his ideals. But the drum beating liberals like Oprah, Barbara Streissand, Bruce Springsteen, Angelina Jolie, Susan Sarandon, and Arianna Puffington also want to give away billions of dollars: YOUR tax dollars. The day they start giving 80-90% of their wealth is the day that I will actually start listening to what they have to say.

And to answer your question: Absolutely. He just bypassed all of the gov't bureaucracies, filled with liberals pissed as hell they are not getting their cut.

Even giving away 40 billion dollars the man still has a few billion in the bank. That's a pretty hefty chunk of change when he dies. So we'll get some of it :)

the opposite! i think what he did was wonderful. i think you and conservatives like you continue to spill lies about liberalism. liberals beleive in helping people when they fall and helping them up. we don't beleive in a lifetime of welfare checks, who would want that. but things happen to people in life- layoffs, downsizing, and outsourcing, also injurys at work. we beleive in temporary releif that will help motivated citizens. if someone doesnt want to be successful you cant make them or force them, we know this. i know fox news and hate radio want you to beleive that liberals are bad but were not, were compassionate individuals that beleive in peace, economic prosperity, and equality.
