Is the Marine infantry squad still broken down into "fire teams". It was when I was in and was archaic even then as it was based on the browning automatic rifle of wwII. If not can someone tell me what now makes up a marine infantry squad...what the members are called and how they are typically armed?

Once again here at Mt clemens Michigan I observed a man with a "I support the troops" decal on his vehicle. "AND" once again I told him thank you for the support of the troops. He smiled and got a woody. Then I ask him to send his 19 and 23 year old sons to the war zone in Iraq and his demeanor changed. "What" he says. "I......I........I do support the war as long as other father's lose their sons in the war." But I will not support the war if my son goes into the war zone. This Republican, who had the decal on his car, said it best. " "My children are going to college and have a lot going for them so they do not belong in the military". Only poor people with no future goes into the service the father said. then he looked at me like I was Charles Manson and walked away. Again I took the decal off of his car so he would't ever be caught in a lie. ( I now have 3 decals and counting )

Have they even stopped to think...

Not really. Too often we forget about the insidious and quiet though steady draft by default that comes from the endless ranks of the poor in the United States who are beguiled by the lure of a better life.

Then there's the STOP LOSS PROGRAM. The true volunteers are not necessarily in lock step regarding policy. And more and more we see the result of this contention among the ranks: Soldiers are mustering out. They are joining groups like Veterans for Peace and Iraq Veterans against the War. They are filing for conscientious objector status. They are going AWOL.

TIME FOR THE REAL REPUGLICONS
TO STEP UP AND VOLUNTEER THEMSELVES, EH!
(Army keeps upping the age limit...if your too old...
I'm sure you can go to Iraq and pass out
BAND-AIDS FROM BUSH...
JOIN THE MILITARY REPUGS...
WHAT HAVE YOU...YES YOU!
GOT TO LOOSE? (YOUR LIFE?)

I recently ran my car into a small tree and it has caused some damage. About $800 in damage. Insurance Refuses to pay. Can I sue myself for wrecking the car to reimburse myself for the $800 I had to pay out of pocket. Is there a law that says I cannot sue myself in court?

Two Democratic senators said Thursday they would press the Pentagon for answers in the case of two California National Guardsmen killed by Iraqi officers they were training. The question is "Why are the American Military men push overs"?

They also said they want to know why the Army waited nine months to tell the men's families after it had determined that Spc. Patrick R. McCaffrey, 34, and 2nd Lt. Andre D. Tyson, 33, were killed in an ambush by the Iraqi Military.

"Was there a cover-up of this incident?" Sen. Barbara Boxer (news, bio, voting record), D-Calif., asked.

Boxer and Carl Levin, D-Mich., said they would also ask the Defense Department to explain why "nothing was done" after McCaffrey told his superiors that Iraqi forces previously had fired on the American unit.

"Are there other incidents where American were fired upon? why is Bush and his buddies covering this all up?

Why whenever I ask a question it's like everyone assumes I'm American, I'm not, so isn't this "questions, yahoo" thing for the whole world? why do American's think they are the centre of the universe? What makes them better than any other part of the world?

Someone earlier, asked this question, but they used a derogatory term for gays instead, and received a lot of heated responses in return. So, I thought I would be open-minded, open myself up to criticism, and ask the question. Your thoughts, please? Thanks!

About our recent 2 military men being tortured & killed.
One general said...
"The torture was something unnatural"

And yet the 'Bush Jesus Juice drinkers'
didn't go into any type of outrage like they
do with simple "liberal comments".

Or was it just deaths #2501 and #2502 to them?
