Navy life on a ship isn't that bad!
It;s a little cramped but It's not as bad as those people say it was, I'd go w/ NAVY but that's just me...

Life on a ship atleast you'll have a bed to sleep in, in a room...if you go AF you might end up sleeping in a tent somewhere where they need you to help with the planes...

The person that answered below me isn't well-informed, there are straight guys in the navy and they love it...

Woodworkingmenace's is correct:

It depends.

An Air Craft Carrier, there are thousands of people on there all the time! You and a friend from home could go on an ACC and never see one another again. ACC's are huge. I have been on almost every class of ship the navy has including TUGs and Assult craft. Space is tight every where but all and all its not to bad. your not going to have that much privacy on the ship. It takes about 4 months to get use to your bunk and the people around you. Passage ways very from large and empty to small cramped hallways. Scuttle holes, dawged doors, DC lockers, engineering spaces, flight deck, hanger, voids, bridge, ops, store rooms, quarters, laundry, mess decks, scullary, store, mags, guns, builges, (learn em and love em)

Aircraft mechanics will usually go to the safest ship in the NAVY....an Aircraft Carrier. And they are the best ships in the NAVY. If you wish to go to different countries, the NAVY is your answer.

It depends.

If your on an LST and the Marines are off loaded, then you have a lot of space.

An Air Craft Carrier, there are thousands of people on there all the time and its crowded.

Other ships are cramped...

Subs, you can get claustrophobic REAL QUICK!

Go Air force, if you dont like the water..because you have to be on the water at least six months out of a four year hitch.

I wish you well..

I believe you and I have chatted before. Air Force is still the way to go. I had some good times on the ship, but in the event of a disaster, tho only way to go was down. You decide, a military career can be very honorable.
