Once again here at Mt clemens Michigan I observed a man with a "I support the troops" decal on his vehicle. "AND" once again I told him thank you for the support of the troops. He smiled and got a woody. Then I ask him to send his 19 and 23 year old sons to the war zone in Iraq and his demeanor changed. "What" he says. "I......I........I do support the war as long as other father's lose their sons in the war." But I will not support the war if my son goes into the war zone. This Republican, who had the decal on his car, said it best. " "My children are going to college and have a lot going for them so they do not belong in the military". Only poor people with no future goes into the service the father said. then he looked at me like I was Charles Manson and walked away. Again I took the decal off of his car so he would't ever be caught in a lie. ( I now have 3 decals and counting )

Again, you are a lying sack of sh*t.

1. How did you know he had two sons?
2. How did you know one was 19 and one was 23?
3. NO ONE would EVER say they support the war as long as other fathers' sons die.

You keep posting this crap, and I point out how you are lying.

If you were really doing what you said - and you are a proven liar - it would be considered a CRIME. I think I'll call the Mt. Clemens police and let them know about your acitivities.

I live in Pontiac. Wanna come and question my decal??

Erudite, no. What you are doing isn't wrong in any aspect whatsoever. You are a true patriot, by not witholding that which is needed to fight a war; your children who are fit and willing to fight, and your loyal support for my brothers in arms. Combat is only one aspect of war. People such as Peter over here lack the vision to see that it takes a country to make a statement, a military to enforce it, and the people to support both the government and its means of protecting its grounds and its stance, so that we will not be swayed.

I myself appreciate your support and the honor you hold for our men and women overseas, as I do with you. Don't let anyone sway your judgment as to whether what you're doing, by the revealing those who fake patriotism and showing yourself an American worth protecting, is wrong.

I'm sure my comrades would agree when I say that I would rather have a handful of true supporters and patriots behind me, rather than a myriad of people who prefer to fake their support and take advantage of that which fight for.

For this, I give you a sincere thank you.

Thank You.

Erudite, when you say "How much longer can I get away with this?", do you mean your tall tale about tearing off bumper stickers, making up tall tales in general, or responding to your own questionable questions under your other handle of K9 Military?

It's not like it's difficult to see that you're the same poster. Your bios are nearly identical. And the two of you spout off the same rhetorical questions instead of just saying how you feel about something.

Lying doesn't legitimize your feelings. Man up and speak your mind. Quit being a coward and hiding behind multiple anonymous fake story tellers.

By saying that you support the troops, doesn't necessarilly mean that you are saying that you support the war. As for asking how long you can get away with this, if you came to my house and took down my flag, or took my "support the troops" magnet off my mailbox, you would not get away with it any longer. Promise.

Supporting the war and supporting the troops are different.

Supporting the troops, to me, means you wish them well and wish for a safe return home.

They are doing their job regardless of the fact that I don't like their particular mission at this point.

So no, I don't support the war and Yes I support the troops.

I don't like my ex-husband but it doesn't mean I don't like my children.

One thing has little to do with the other.

In your dreams. By the way, if you check the sites that sell the bumper stickers they say, "Support the Troops and the chain of command". That means Bush, Chaney and Rummy.

I would love to do something like that but really I'm just a coward. I get satisfaction though by making up stories like this and posting them on the Internet
