Two Democratic senators said Thursday they would press the Pentagon for answers in the case of two California National Guardsmen killed by Iraqi officers they were training. The question is "Why are the American Military men push overs"?

They also said they want to know why the Army waited nine months to tell the men's families after it had determined that Spc. Patrick R. McCaffrey, 34, and 2nd Lt. Andre D. Tyson, 33, were killed in an ambush by the Iraqi Military.

"Was there a cover-up of this incident?" Sen. Barbara Boxer (news, bio, voting record), D-Calif., asked.

Boxer and Carl Levin, D-Mich., said they would also ask the Defense Department to explain why "nothing was done" after McCaffrey told his superiors that Iraqi forces previously had fired on the American unit.

"Are there other incidents where American were fired upon? why is Bush and his buddies covering this all up?

There is no cover up. The insurgents infiltrate the ranks, and there is almost no way of knowing it, until they show themselves in an ambush.

Its unfortunate, that those two got killed, and no, our men arent "push overs", but if they have a rifle trained on you and a lot of other men are bearing down on you, what is a person to do? Surrender, thats what!...

They were trained, and they did thier jobs.

I salute them for it, and I weep for thier famlies.
But, I back the Military 100% as they are doing the best that they can with little rest and a lot of hatred aimed at thier way, from our side and the other side...

I wish you well..

Isn't it ironic that when things like this happens, or Walter Reed charges discharged wounded vets for their meals, and military at Ft Hood who had to pay for lost body armor that was cut off when that were wounded in Iraq, the Hummers in Iraq that was unarmored and lack of body armor or all this other BS, you never hear from a Republicans. They never fix it! They never even want you to know about it!! It might cost the 2 bucks, or the truth might come out!

It's understandable to question the political reasoning that got us into this war....but do me a favor SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!

We didn't ask to go to Iraq....we went because that is our job. As the USA's Armed Forces we do what our country bids us do to keep it safe.

The Army had a reason for doing what it did. It might not be the media's or the American people's business at this moment, but there is a good reason.

I love these questions. Keeps me in stitches. I'm amazed the President gets anything done, with all the cover ups he's covering up, wars he's starting, the hurricanes he's diverting, the disasters he creating. Yeah.....Levin and Boxer are pillars of the community. I wouldn't take anything they say too seriously.
