I am ex military, recently discharged, I think at night lying in bed that I will wake up back in time, back in uniform. I feel like I am going nuts here in the civilian world. I have talked to the National Gaurd, with my type of discharge, I have to wait 12 months and show proof of Alcohol abuse treatment. I have waited for 12 months, so the treatment is thonly thing I really need. I have to many bills right now to cover the medical bills for that. My question is, is it normal for ex military members to long for the moment of getting back in uniform? And to go insane in the civilian world? Well, not really insane, just a little, deppressed is the word. Please help me out if possible. Thank you.

There were 160 yrs without income taxes! Lincoln paid for the Civil War without income taxes. We fought the Brits over taxes. There simply must be some workable way to do this. 3 Gov.'s pay and do not tax their people. Why do we knuckle under to pay taxes when 3 other Gov.'s pay thier people and do not tax them. In 2 of these Gov they have a higher income than we do. What are we to stupid, lazy, unworthy, what? Are we just going to wait for the day when the US slides into being nothing on the world stage?

that if you do not receive notification of exceeding the speed limit within a 14 day period that you cannot receive fixed penalty points or a fine...?
I was in the car with my brother.. we were chatting away and then realised he was going 35mph in a 30mph country lane zone. It's highly possible he will receivepoints as a friend of mine got them for going 32 mph in a 30mph area!
If the above isn't true about the 14 day notification period .... any legal experts out there?

I want you to talk me into liking this president. Tell my why you still like him. I really want to know, really. I just don't get it. Please try to persuade me by using some of his factual accomplishments, not just your opinions.

p.s. I you can't stand him, tell me why, factually.

This is mainly directed at liberals. Would you take the opportunity, if offered, to go to Iraq and show them how to set up a democracy based on your beliefs and politcal ideology? What would be your first steps to putting them on the road to a country even better than America? Here is an awesome opportunity to prove yourselves and perhaps overshadow the accomplishments of the United States.

We need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a disaster because we won't have the guts to enforce it. Does anyone in their right mind really think they will leave and return voluntarily? What else can be done?
