Our immigration policy is racist as we are letting in 5 to 1 Mexicans.
There is a state representative that has as introduced a bill to emulate the Mexico's immigration policies. We need to call our representatives and have they support the bill.
Mexico is one of 4 countries that has the toughest immigration policies. But, their reason is much different then the other countries as the illegals entering Mexico are mostly just passing though to come here and Mexico doesn't want any people coming here except Mexicans. Racist who is racist.? Mexico!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quietwalker is a lier I have friend in Mexico who can attest to the fact of what is happening there. Also, there are human right groups that have testified to what is going on.

No. America is a nation of immigrants. Never forget that. If the border had been closed to your ancestors, then you wouldn't be here either.
That being said you are absolutely right about Mexico's immigration laws. They are more stringent. But remember also, that our economy is stronger- partially as a result of pulling the best and the brightest from other countries. Just like we pulled some of the best Jewish minds from Germany during WWII, we are doing the same today from India, Africa, and yes, Mexico and South America. I'm not saying that all immigrants are Einstiens, but the are definitely harder working and more determined people.
The reason why America is the greatest country in the world is because this is a place where all you have to do is work hard and have a dream, no matter where you come from. Let's not destroy the very thing that makes us great. I don't want to live in Mexico. Or India, or China, or the Middle East. Let them come. Someone let your family in.

I don't want to drop to the level of Mexico's government, but I think the illegal Mexican immigrants ought to think a little bit before they go marching in the streets of the US, demanding rights and putting the American people down, calling Americans racist, etc. They ought to remember from whence they came and they would find that they would get a lot more positive attention and understanding and sympathy from the American people if they instead acted a little more thankful for being in this great country and being able to provide better for their families and themselves. Instead, with their marching and protesting and disrespecting the American people, they lose more and more would-be supporters of their desire for the American Dream. I feel heartsick when I see this in the news and it makes me more than ever want them to go back home. I love that there are immigrants everywhere in the world - that this is mostly a very free world and you can pretty well move anywhere in it that you want; however, all countries want people to apply properly through the legal channels and immigrate legally. When you do so, you show respect for the host country and they are then happy to have you. I am an immigrant - from the USA to Canada and I have never felt discriminated against in Canada. I still love the USA, also, but I don't wave the USA flag around in Canada and call down Canadians, because I love and respect them, too.

Good point, but if we did that, from whose heritage would we admit? If anyone but Mexican, there would be no Mexicans and that is racist.
Racist is the last card of defense as an equalizer. Even though they are illegal, the President of Mexico strongly objects that they are not and are responsible to cater to them on his terms.
Sooner or later, hopefully before the bills pass, this will be recognized for what it is: A home security, citizenship and colonization issue, not an immigration issue.
And for those that don't know: Mexican citizenship is for mexican people and descent only. You must renounce your parent country, and can apply without ever being there. You can also have dual citizenship in America, so when the La Reconquista plans are in action, they are no longer American citizens but Mexican citizens already. If you wanted to be a citizen of Mexico and were not of dissent, they would probably beat you in the street with no form of legal protection at all.
Oh, and by the way, since it's illegal for a clerk to ask you to prove your citizenship, untold thousands of illegal mexicans are already registered voters. There was a Hispanic politician caught on tape a few days ago explaining this to groups of illegal aliens in a speech, but denied it in english.

I think we should offer Mexico a treaty ensuring equal treatment for our citizens in each others' countries. Because treaties only require the Senate and the President to approve them, this offers Mexico the chance to bypass the House, which passed a more punitive bill than the Senate or President support. On the other hand, Mexico is almost certain to reject the offer, which would expose their government's amazing hypocrisy in spectacular fashion.

I don't know where you got your information, but it doesn't jibe with anything I know about Mexican immigrants, legal or illegal, nor with anything I know about Mexico's treatment of immigrants. I lived and worked in that country illegally for three years, during which time I learned Spanish fluently, and read and write it as well. Your info is wrong and therefore your opinions on this subject are too.

I have no respect or love for any illegal person. America has more Mexicans then Mexico itself. Which is a very sad thing indeed. Not to mention that the Mexico government won't help do anything about it to help.

You will soon be labeled a racist by the far left that wants to covet the Hispanic vote; particularly those 12 million people they want on the voter registration roles as soon as possible...ideally by November.
Remember statistically only 49% of American's even pay taxes; and not a big percentage of those 12 million are in that group....and those not in that group tend to vote for the tax and spend party.

That's what the protester were protesting about, their was a senator that had a bill that stated illegal immigrants would be felons, just like Mexico's law. and the Mexican activists did not like that so they got organized and marched. So they brought all this on them selves.
