Well, They kind of stunk and they kept fighting with one another.
So I thought it would be a good idea to give them alittle bath even though they are small rats.

But i feel really bad now because I scared them nearly to death. They were freaking out and crying really loud!

Do you think I shouldn't have done this???

This is my first time owning pet rats....

He's a gray, black, and white lop-eared rabbit. At first i started calling him Rocky but it just doesnt suit him. He needs something not too masculine and definately not feminine. Are there any animal lovers who have a suggestion?

I have a Russian dwarf hamster. He recently developed an abscess and I kinda disregarded it because it was fairly small and I looked online and it said that it would drain. Now, it's gotten bigger and I'm really worried. I'm taking him to the vet but I want to know, is there going to be any consequences because I failed to take action when I first noticed it? I heard that the vet will lance it but is that safe? I'm really worried because he's so small and I want the best for him. PLEASE HELP!!!

when I say goldfish, I mean fish like that, as I want to get my first fish, so something small and simple would be great.

Also, when I say fish bowl, I meant a small bowl, not a huge aquarium, just one big enough for two fish.

My husband and I lost our lab mix, Lucky back in October due to old age. He came up to our house as a stray, in bad shape so we got him fixed, later on he blew out both ACL'S in both knees that were operated on. Later he was on 2 quite expensive arthritis pills that helped him alot. My husband LOVED this dog. I did to but I am the cat lady, I attend to our 8 cats needs. We knew he was fully grown 3-5 years old based on wwhat the vet has said and we had him for 13 years which means he was anywhere from 16 to 18 years old when he died. Now the problem, my husband says never another dog, youv'e already had the best, nothing would ever compare. How do I compete with that? Lucky was like his baby, the cats are mine, we don't have kids so there is a whole there where lucky used to be. What can I do to make this his idea? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

My little mouse died today. She was part of a pair. They were very close! One would run in the wheel while the other would hang on and spin. They were always licking and snuggling together. Now I am worried that the one left behind can adjust to being alone?

She is in the cage now which has been fully cleaned! She seems to be very upset. She is not running in her wheel and I really can't tell if she is eating. She has built a new nest in a part of the cage she normally eats from.

Any ideas?

He loves to run, and jump and play and make all sorts of sounds. I always make sure to give him lots of attention. I'm worried that I won't be able to find an other male to pair him up with, since he seems happy, should I just leave him by himself?

So for any of you cattle or animal science people--I was wondering, do they just may leather out of food grade bovines or are there certain breeds raised just for leather? Just wondering.

Well, I recently just got an 8 month male Maltese Sunday and they had just come out of washing him. Can I wash him with regular shampoo like Herbal Essenes, Garnier Fructis, or Loreal Vive? He doesn't smell bad but he doesn't smell the greatest either though. And also is it time for me to wash him yet? And would it just be easier to get him groomed?

Has anyone heard about the killer-rats migrating to the United States of America? http://www.apopo.org/hires/
Question Details: Allegedly, while a man was posting stakes for his new lawn in a rural community north of New York City, a giant rat jumped from the ground attacking the man while being caught on camera. The rat was of irish origin and is appeared to have migrated with many more rodents to the New York City-Boston area from ships leaving port in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Some predict the rats to be migrating West across America. What are your opinions? (Click the above jpeg for image? And if you're interested in the irish rat problem at the current time? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/4487526.stm
