I have a big old farmhouse and I have 5 dogs(three large) and 5 cats in here. My home is always clean and people always remark how I have so many animals and my house doesnt smell like animals. I do not believe it is unhealthy. I have also raised 4 daughters to adults with all of them.

as long as they are clean and do not smell like yesterdays diaper. No.. Unless your allergic to them. then that could be a problem. Other than that. You have less pets than my friend does. He's got 4 dogs, 2 cats, 1 snake, 2 spiders, and a bunny.

No, just as long as you have time to dedicate to them and their wellbeing. Are they being groomed properly? fed properly? walked or in the case of the cat litter box changed regularly? veterinary check-ups? clean house? if the answer is yes to all of those, then why not? but then some cats and dogs will NEVER get along, even when acquainted..oh yeah and allergens...

Not if you don't have allergies and clean up after your animals if they have an accident. I think it's cleaner without animals, but I don't think animals are bad to have if a person enjoys them.

that would depend on how often you groom and clean up after your pets. if you do these things daily and all pets get along then i would see no reason for concern.

I don't think so, as long as you have enough room for them all.
