I have two pygmy goats (sisters) they are about a year and a half. I came home today and went out to feed them and I couldn't find one of them at first, which was odd because she usually comes running. I looked around and found her in her shed dead. I have no idea what could've happened to her. The weather hasn't been too cold. (well I live in Montana so it is cold, but nothing the goats aren't used to..and it has been warmer this week than usual) I just don't get it. I saw her yesterday and she looked just fine, her normal happy self. Does anyone have any ideas on what could've happened? And does anybody know of anyone who might want a pymgy goat in MT? Daisy (the goat who died) was the friendlier of the two and I can't see keeping the other one without Daisy because she'll get really lonely. Also how do you think Lily (the other goat) will react to a new home without her sister?

Teh kids and I had our new pet mice out on the couch to play and try to name them, the little white one slipped into the hide-a-bed couch, I put her friend back in the cage and took the couch apart, she was nowhere to be seen! Directly under the couch in a heating vent, that is the only place she can be. Does anyone have any ideas on getting her out? I live in a 1 story modular home so all the vens run under the house, it is also winter here 30inches of snow.... I would love to get her back before she dies and starts to smell... Thanks

I got a friend who has a red fox as a pet. Found it as an injured pup a few years ago on his property in the country. She's a great pet, very friendly and super intelligent. And my friend is wondering about how to go about breeding her. Seems not too many people keep red foxes as pets. Any ideas?

she'll take food from me if i hold it with my fingertips (the food, not the hamster), but i don't think she's actually tame - shes fine running along my hands, but if i try to hold her like i've been told 2 (firm but gentle) she bites, etc.

I've lost a few pets in my lifetime, and because I have a couple at once, there will be more. But most of them have died naturally or in their sleep.

But 2 years ago, I was taking my whitelab/pomeranian [haha the male was a pom, he's got courage lol] to the vet, I'd let him ride in the back of the truck bed, I tied him to the tool box so he couldn't jump out. Well, I had to use a tad bit longer leash and I was going down the road .. he jumped out .. but I didn't know it until a mile down the road, I realize I hadn't seen him pop up over the toolbox for awhile. It was the most horrific thing I've ever seen in my life and I just broke down and cried right there in the middle of the road. My neighbor happened to go by and noticed me holding him, he's a rancher and he said he probabaly didn't feel a thing and pointed out that his neck was broken. Since then I rarely put an animal in the bed of the truck , even if I'm willing to hold them. I even put my lamb in the cab from then on.

I have always wanted a duck ever since I was little. I had one but my brother killed it. My friend had one for his duaghter and they loved. Not alot of mess and really low-maintanence. I have been looking everywhere in the DFW area. I found one place but the ducks looked sick and not very healthy or clean. I found another place in Mesquite, TX but the man was rude and evertime I asked a question he would look at me mean. I asked him if he could put a duckling aside for me so, but he said No. So if anyone knows anyplaces in the DFW area, I would greatly appreciate it.
