Left a question yesterday about the person who left her horse with no food, water, hay etc. she has now been gone for 7 days, she is in another state when she is returning who know and at this point who cares, I could not bear to see that horse just standing there with a non- caring owner, I fed, watered, gave hay, cleaned the stall, even took him some apples, I have my own horse to take care of, but people who answered my question about this person, the horse is doing fine and now has aclean stall fresh water and a full belly, she will not care or will she say Thank You but the horse did with that sweet look her gave me. At least I care, she will have to answer to herself that she doesn't.

Commercial pet food contains ROADKILL, EUTHANIZED SHELTER ANIMALS(collars and all), DEAD ZOO ANIMALS, RANCID MEAT from supermarkets, and ROTTING VEGETABLES?
I did not believe this could be true until I took a closer look at what everybody is saying.

hello all,
i know this lady that lives in cleveland ohio and she has 7 cats and one dog in a 1 bedroom apt.. the dog never gets to go outside.. the lady has pads for the dog to urinate on... does anyone know the zoning laws for ohio concerning animals???? please help... tina

I rescued a horse that fractured his shoulder when he was 1 1/2 years old in a trailer accident. His owners were going to send him through the auction, so I got the sweetie in order to save his life.
When I got him the injury was only 6 months old. He was carrying his front leg. Now he is 3 years old and he can use it his leg and now he doesn't even have a limp. My prayers were answered.
My question is...has anyone ever dealt with this and do they fully recover well enough to train for a riding horse? I don't want to compete with him so it would just be easy trails. You cannot tell he was ever injured. His muscle even formed normal. Thanks ahead of time for your answers.

i have tried several types of hay but he will not eat it.can anybody give me any advice on how to get him to eat hay.it is very inportant that he starts to eat hay soon because i cannot continue to pay to have his teeth clipped every few weeks.thanks

I have an 18 yr. old gelding and he runs into his stall. I have look over him thoroughlyand even asked my vet. One girl broke her wrist bringing him in. I have tried this so many ways. I have walked him in and out until he walks in and i have put a set of lights in his stall so it's not dark! help please

We bought three dwarf hamsters. The books say dwarfs are socialable and can be housed together. There are times when they play fight but don't make any noise, and there are times that they one squeeks a lot. Should I be concerned? Serious answers only. I have thought about getting another cage and seperating the one getting picked on out of the main cage.

I live in rent to geared income housing in toronto and i was wondering if anyone knows if they are aloud to say "no pets allowed" or limit you in how many pers you can have. Situation: I moved to rent to gfeared income housing and i signed a leas sayingonly one pet per unit. Due to the fact that it is befoe christmas and i got a badly abusd cat i am chosing to keep him. But im wondering if they can evict me for having two cats. Like if they inspected all of the units out of 84 at leas 20 of them have 2 pets or more. so like what do i do? My pets no one is allergic to on my floor as we all have cats or let them run i the halls. They arent noisy like dogs (one of the tenants has a relally small yappy loud dog whom barks at night and wakes people up. What do i do?

Confusedbuthappy askedus to tell her what small pets we keep and what we keep them in. She then turned her question into a website of information for small animals and their upkeeping. In this section, one of her points was to advise not to keep Guinea Pigs and Rabbits together in the same cage. When I was little we had an outdoor enclosure which was about 8 square metres and we had 2 rabbits and 2 guinea pigs living in harmony. They shared the same little house inside the enclosure but were free to come and go as the please. We never had any problems with them, so why does confusedbuthappy suggest this?
