If two pet rocks got together and had babies, would the offspring be little pebbles or little stones?

Of course, as it says in scriptures: "And they shall go forth among the Marble walks of paradise, and He shall Granite them all their wishes."

And they are little pebbles, rolling merrily and gathering no moss. It is the pedantic sedimentary clans who refer to their Children as Stone, but their culture is turning over, and they are becoming less objectionable as time passes.

And as for marriage, why should not an igneous lie down with a metamorphic? Or the sedimentary with ... Oh, that is painful to contemplate ... perhaps the world is not ready ...

Roll on, friend, the moss creeps up...

Yes, little Rocky and friends will descend to the great above, and have rock concerts and rockin' parties! I would say, when it comes to offspring, it depends where the rock is from. Southern hemisphere, I'd say pebbles. Northern hemisphere, most definitely stones. Good luck with all of your pet rocks!

LOL! I love this question. I remember pet rocks!

Edit: There are some STUPID people here. Obviously the poster was making a humorous thread here. Some of the answers were idiotic. Or at least I hope so. Some of them seemed to take the question too seriously.

Babe: Yes it's a joke. That's why it was so popular inthe 80s. Get a clue.

Twiggy: God. Get a sense of humor

luis070189: "Uhm" Of course they're not alive.

Idiots.

well being as they are not alive I would usually say no but I gave this some thought and after thousands of years they will disintegrate and that is the rock equivalent of death and if they have been a good pet rock, that doesn't tempt children to through them at other children, yes they will go to rock heaven and meet there maker

i used to have a pet rock, my husband carved it a nice bed, chair and table out of wood. it had silk sheets to sleep btwn, cushoin on the chair and was a great companion, he one day disappeared when we moved and dont know where he went, he was never exposed to females, so never had pebbles, although i am sure he wished he could, but then he would have gotten married.
seriously, all things we love and cherish and need go to heaven with us. they are always waiting on the other side of the rainbow bridge to help us cross over

Wow, truly incredible. Did the voices tell you to ask this question?
I'd only feel better with a rock in the face after reading it.
You are special, in a totally useless kind of way.

If you take your pet rock and go stand at the shore & throw it out there as far as you can it will sink straight to the bottom. Don't worry, it won't drown. It will be very happy to see papa rock and mama rock.
