It is inhumane, sick and cruel. Testing should rather be done on those who mistreat animals in this way.

So how are we supposed to test life saving drugs? On people? Better a mouse get a fatal drug than me. Or a drug that *surprise* has some interesting side effects.
I used to work on a project for a chicken vaccine. We tested the vaccine on hundreds of chickens to make sure it worked and the vaccine didn't 'shed'. Just think, if we were not allowed to test the vaccine on animals, then we wouldn't have any at all.

PETA is a joke!
They claim to be all about animals and humane treatment of animals yet they kill tens of thousands of animals a year instead of re homing them...ha ha ha what a bunch of losers.
I agree that testing bath and beauty products on animals is inhumane,,,BUT if your child is dying of a terrible disease and the treatment IS out there BUT not available because animal testing was not permitted then I think your views would be a little different.
Actually I have the perfect solution Test products on pedophiles and people who have and give abortions..NOW that's humane!

Testing cosmetic products and the like is stupid and a waste. MEDICAL testing is NOT. Anyone who has taken so much as an aspirin supports medical testing. There is NO other option for medical advances and drugs for people AND pets. That is just how it is. It IS necessary!!!!!

Animal are not are lab partners in science class. They have no say in what happens to them. It is wrong to test on animals and i suggest that you try hard to purchase products that are not tested on animals.
Did the rat or monkey say he wanted brain tumors in his brain or strang contamenated "lotion" rubbed on his skin. Animals have feelings too. They dont belong in our labs, on our bodies, or on our plates.
I'm all go for PETA!

I beleive unneccessary testing is wrong, and that torturing an animal is wrong, also. But if it's between testing on an animal, and saving many human lives (esp. children), it should be done...in the most humane way.

I agree with horse crazy, products should be tested on those who mistreat animals, rapists, murderes, etc., and to anyone who thinks we`re crazy for loving animals so much.

My hamster took the SATs and didn't do so well. She is probably going to resit them in January. I think it is cruel to make them take tests.
