Do Pit bulls, in general, look better with short cropped ears; or with natural floppy ones..???

I am all for the natural look. I have a cocker spainel with his complete tail. I think cropping and docking in not nessacary and is painful. Plus the floppy part of the ear that gets cut off is there to protect the inside of the dogs ears and prevent debrie from going in the ears.

Short cropped ears are what the fighters have so the other dogs don't rip them off i have had both a short crop and a floppy got them from a rescue league to me they were both pretty

My son had a Pit Bull several years ago -- he did not have his ears cropped. I have seen several that have had their ears cropped. In my opinion, leaving the ears natural makes the dog look friendlier. The ones with cropped ears always look to me as though they were fighting dogs.
I guess it depends on what kind of impression you are trying to give.

I personally think they look hansome with their ears cropped, but I think it is so cruel the way that they do it :(
Cropped Ears or floppy will look cute on any pitty!
Pitbulls rock!
To crop ears a vet has to do it, homejob cropping is cruel!

It's all a personal preference. I like them with floppy ears myself.

YOU KNOW, IT REALLY DEPENDS ON HOW YOU WANT YOU DOG TO APPEAR. SHORT EARS MAKE THE DOGS HEAD APPEAR LARGER THEREFORE IT LOOKS A LITTLE MEANER. FLOPPY NATURAL EARS MAKE THE DOG LOOK A LITTLE MORE INNOCENT. I HAVE TRIED BOTH AND I MUST SAY I LIKE THE NATURAL EARS BETTER. AND THE DOG LIKES THEM TOO: LESS PAIN TO KEEP THEM LONG.
