I had a pot belleid pig and he was extremely intelligent and was very easy to train! YOu can litter box train them as well. They make great pets if you make sure that you understand their needs and what they need for care! If you are unsure about this do some research on the net and go from there! Pot bellies are the best!

My husband works on a hog farm and regular pigs get BIG as in over 200 lbs. If you want the pig as a pet, you might want to keep to the pot belly pigs. A friend of ours had pot belly pigs and they were really cute. My husband says the pigs are really smart. Not sure if that will help you, or not.

There are plenty of web sites about pot bellied pigs, miniatures and tea cups are nothing more the a sham to draw people in to pay large amounts of money to buy them. This is not a homework forum is it a forum for getting advice on raising and caring for your pets.

I had bottlefed and raised a pot bellied pig when I was young, and yes they make excellent pets and are exteremely friendly. They have the intelligence level of a dog, and can learn many tricks. If you want a pig as a pet go for a potbellied as regular pigs get HUGE!!!!
