I bought my first horse about 2 months ago. He is 13 years old and has ridden English all his life. Although I like riding English I would like to ride western. Is it possible to teach a horse to neck rein too? or do horses get confused with English reining and western if you try and use both? I'm a bit of a novice so please use layman terms and include ANY information you think would be helpful for a first time owner. Thanks!

I have had a squirrel feeder for several years. Here In l, Houston I get them pretty much all year. I would like, however to be able to see them without them scurrying off, all the time. Some don't seem to mind me in thegeneral area but the minute i start toward them they run off. How can I calm them. I don't necesarily want to hand feed or hold them, just to be around them withowut scaring them.

I fed my mother's horse a big mac and pizza I had left in my car over night and she seemed to love it. I just gave her a whopper from burger king after a long ride and she loved it!. I noticed that she seems to have horrible bowel movements and trouble breathing afterwards but it seems to go away after a few hours. Is it ok on occasion?

His eye can be opened a little bit, but no where near as much as his left eye can. I have never taken him or my other hamsters to a vet and know it will be quite expensive. Is there anything that I might be able to try at home to make it better?

Male/ ? years old/either syberian or chinese dwarf hamster

My baby Nutmeg is a female mouse and we have had her for several months. She seems to be and extreme escape artist and we have decided to upgrade her cage, while replacing the cage we thought we'd go bigger and also add a friend. Is it possible to add another mouse without having them fight and kill each other? We don't want babies so it would be a female/female pair - I just don't want either mouse getting hurt.

I have an 8 month old female black dwarf lop rabbit who lives outside in a hutch. Over these past few months, ive been finding clumps of her hair in her bed. Is it just her hormones or something? Because at around the same time she becomes angry and grumpy.

Is this normal?

I saw an animal in my garden and I have no idea what it is! It had longish legs, pointy ears, was small, looked like a mink (though don't think it is one), PLEASE HELP! I even went to the library and looked for it in a nature book, but still couldn't find it! It wasn't a cat either.

I have read somewhere that a horse is the only animal that knows when it is going to die. Is this true? And what if it is going to be killed? Would it still know then that it is going to die?
