I had a mahogany bay Thoroughbred mare named Kristin's Ace. I had to sell her though. I still have her sorrel filly named Red, of all things, by a Arabian/Quarter (named Whisper) stud that i raised from a baby until I sold him this past June, and others, including, 2 registered Quarter mares (a black named Mirage and a white with blue eyes named Angel), their younguns by the same stud (a buckskin by the white mare called Sassy, and a bay by the black, Star), and a 28 year old tri color paint, Joe. I've had the paint 23 years, and the others, one aqha mare 13 years, the other 12, the 2 four year olds since they were born, and the 2 1/2 year old since he was born. They're a lot of fun! I rode the youngest for the first time yesterday. lol

I have a chestnut Thoroughbred gelding. He is 8 years old. His name is Mr. Dillon. He is 16.1hh and he is my life! I got him 2 years ago. He is an ex race horse and won 3 times at Santa Anita here in California, then bowed a tendon and my trainer bought him put him on stall rest for 1 year. Then she asked me to help her sell him as my summer project. Too bad I fell in love and would not let anyone else buy him. Now he is mine! I have never looked back. Neither has he :)
Have fun with your horse.

I live in Ocala, Florida. It is the horse capital of the world. There are a lot of race horses here, and when they retire, they look for a good home, and then give them away. We have a mare, that was given to us.she is huge, and a lot of love. They make great pets. Mama, is 16 years old now, and going strong.

I have a 16.2 hh white (slight dappling on her lower legs) Andalusian mare, named Tasia, and a 15.3 hh flea-bitten grey QH mare that I train, named Annie (aka "Country Performer"). No TBs but a couple cute grey mares :) I do work with a 16.2-16.3 hh bay TB gelding if you're looking for just TB owners :)

15hh bay. xracehorse, too slow for the track (lucky me). Her name's Victory Slew, she's a granddaughter of Seattle Slew and Victory Stride. I found out she only made $500.00 on the track, but she's an awesome riding horse!!
