I have a tarantula, and she just got a new tank. I needed new bedding and the pet store is closed. So I picked up some cedar bedding at Wal Mart. Is this OK for my tarantula?

I'm interested in mammals that's for sure. And I would prefer something that is slow moving and not very jumpy. I can't have a dog or another cat.... so I was thinking in the rodent family.... possibly a hedgehog? Has anyone ever had one? If so, do those spines on it hurt?

I was just wondering what someone thought of these new gen pets out. I am not sure it is a good idea, little weird to me. If anyone reading question, owns one, is it odd having one?

I have a albino corn snake, a hungarian milk snake, two emproyer scorpions, a turantula and 6 inguanas. I used to have a bobcat, but that was by accident. I found it as a baby and thought it was a normal kitten, then it got big and liked to jump of my refrigiater onto people as they walked by. And I figured out that a cats paw shouldn't be the size of a human's hand, ha. I'v had a couple of dust bunnies, but their no fun..........

My beautiful black lab, Sabby The Wonderdog®, really is a superior animal above all others. How can I make people understand that he truly is better than their pet?

Personally I think cats are the better animal but I would like to know what you think!

I bought some feline pine for my cat a while back and HATED it. Well I bought it on sale and still have 2 bags left.

Anyway, I know that cedar is bad to use, but would the pine cause any harm? I hate to be wasteful and it would be perfect if I could use it for my mice.

MY MALE GUINEA PIG ALWAYS PURRS WHY?

Best answer gets it....If you are in pet questions (which you are) you know what I mean. If you are going to ask a question like "My German Shepherd has a knife sticking out of its head (over exaggerated I know) and I need help NOW what do I do?" That for some of us we are watching to see what you do and if the dog is OK. You can UPDATE your question to let us know what is going on. Some of us sincerely cared enough to answer and want to know if your animal is OK....I guess the question here is. Why do SOME people send out an update and others DO NOT? We either never know or they wait till days later when time is up to let us know what happened. Sorry to "preach to the choir." But I have been concerned about a Great Dane that was posted yesterday. Makes me not want to answer these questions and stay in jokes and riddles.

I’m feeding my Filly 4 squares off of a square bail of hay and a 2lb coffee can full of grain a day. (is this enough grain and hay?) If I put all of her daily hay in a hay sack in the morning she is ready for more when I go out in the evening to feed her. She is not wasting it. Will she over eat? I don’t want to make her sick.
I don’t have much experience with colts, my husband does and he is out of town for 2 weeks.
