Personally I think cats are the better animal but I would like to know what you think!

I prefer dogs because you can do more with them. Dogs can be lap buddies or general helpers or playmates or protectors.

Think of it this way: you can't get 8 cats to pull a sled through snow!

Neither animal is better than the other in general. Like all animals most animals(or is that all) they live on instinct. Of course in terms of better for a person it depends on a plethora of factors and naturally preference. I like both cats and dogs. Dogs because they are so loyal and energetic and cats because of their independence and they kind of choose their owner. They don't like who their owner is and give them a second to run away they'll most likely do it, yet again some dogs do as well.

I like cats and dogs, it depends on your life style, your house, the area, and your health, if you happen to be allergic to one or the other, but love that one, or that is the best option, than getting an hypo-allergenic cat or dog is a good idea. I really think cats are better for a life style that keeps you away from home, and dogs for a home with people around. It really just depends.

Both has their own qualities and fallbacks. I think it just all depends on the person. Like say for instance I like cats more, but that doesn't mean I will shun a dog away. I love animals! Okay, but anyway, no one is better than the other. That's like saying is one child better than the other. They both are different and therfore can't really be compared.

OK so I've had both, Cats and Dogs!!! And I gotta say....I totally prefer Cats lol >:3!!!! I had one Chick tell me that she liked Dogs more because every time she came home her Dog got all excited and always greeted her!!!!!! I just laughed and told her how it was opposite for me!!!! My Kitty was always the one to come Greet me :'D!!!!!! The Dog...just sat n looked at everybody :/ #boring!!!!
So with Dogs when they greet you, they usually jump up on your legs n cut you all up #annoying!!!
With Cats they usually meow first then rub all over you lol XD!!!!
The pet Dogs were HARD to house train!!! Took them almost a year and every day up until they learned they'd poop n piss all over the floor #Kill >:(!!!! Lol!!
Our pet Cat...learned literally the first day we got him as a Kitten!!!
With our Dogs....literally every time we let them Outside the Eat and Roll in Poop!!!!
Our Cat...lol never did any of that :'D!!!!
Last but not least Cats....are just way ******* Cuter then most Dogs >:3!!

I love both!!! Cats have their own personality and are total individuals, but can demonstrate their loyalty with ease; dogs on the other hand are obviously larger- depending on the dog - and are great to have around for companionship, protection and fun!! I have both and I love them all equally...

I don't think that one is better than the other.

They both have their own pros and cons.

I have a cat and a dog and I love them both the same.

3) Litter Box FTW
4) Good inside pet
5) See 1-4

well, i have 6 dogs and 3 cats, if you live in a small place then you need a small dog,but must have time to spend with him/her, they have to be walked and need lots of luv and attention. cats on the other hand dont seem to really care, they pretty much take care of themselves, as long as you leave them food and water, they do luv you, but arent as much work, so it depends on your living space and time
