around 7 years if properly cared for. Mine (5) are all over 6 years old.

I have 13 guinea pigs at the moment. My longest lived ones were 7 years of age when they died but normally they reach 4/5.

Well if take good care of them they live about 8 or 9 years. There are some exceptions with their life. I know a kid who's guinea pig lived till12 years, but this is very rear.

Hi that would depend on what was to happen to it along the way as some can live to 8 about but some die a lot younger due to one reason or another...stress is a big killer in cavies(G/Pigs) so I guess the happier the pig the longer the life...Regards Jake

They say 5-7 years. I have had about 20 of them over the years. Mine averaged about 4-6. My best pets have been ratties but only problem is their lifespan is 2.5-3 years. Man, I miss them the most!

mine lived to the ripe old age of eight...my vet was astonished...he said they only usually live for four years.
I suppose it all depends on the care that you give...look after their teeth..lots of exercise and a good varied diet....
Can't wait to get some more....love the things so easy and uncomplicated.
