I've been looking into (finally) purchasing a Stubben Juventus D dressage saddle, which I believe has the typical long billets. My question for ya'll is, how do I know what size dressage girth to get? I've tried googleing, but have found no direct answers. If it helps, my horse currently rides in a size 50 girth on a regular all purpose saddle. If you need more information to work with, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

I'm posting this twice, just to get different opinions from the different sections, so more people have a chance to see it

I got my male pig for almost two years. He is very spoiled almost like I would treat a child. I know I should have gotten two at the same time but my boyfriend got me him (Homer) as a gift for sweetest day. This past June I decided to get another male pig, he was only four months old at the time so I figured Homer would take him on as his own. They were separated in the cage that I built with a divider for about three days and the divider was removed when I would come home from work until I permanetly removed it once I felt comfortable about leaving them alone. They started getting along a little bit, Little Guy loves Homer. Homer hates Little Guy. Any advice my boyfriend had to break up a pig fight the other day and he got bit pretty bad by Homer (hes never bitten before). We haven't ignored Homer since we got Little Guy if anything hes gotten more attention. I would love to be able to hold them together without the jealousy and piggy wars. Any suggestions would help.

My rabbit is too fat (and he's not going in the pot). Just wondered what I should be feeding each day. At the moment he has limited pellets, as much hay as he wants and some veggies. I'm going to cut down on the pellets but how much veg should I give each day and what type? At the moment he has carrott, parsley and basil.

I just got my first Rabbit. It's an adorable Miny Rex. He's orangeish brown and has 2 black stipes acroos him. We named him Casey James after my favorate Nascar driver, I need to know if rabbits can have or need shots like cats and dogs do though. Also, is it safe to let them have small amounts of carrots and lettuce? My cats seem to want to make friends with him but he kicks them. Any tips on getting them to get along? I don't leave the rabbit alone with the cats even for a short time. Can rabbits be litter trained? I don't really like caged animals and feel he shouldn't have to be caged if he can be trained. Harness trained? Any other rabbit care and advice is also welcome.

I had my bunny & guinea pig in May so the weather was nice & warm. They have a large hutch & my partner built them a huge pen around it so that they could not get out & nothing else could get in. The guinea pig doesn't come out of the hutch, he prefers to be inside. At first, we used to lock the hucth with them both inside at night. However, our bunny would rattle the door for ages when we shut it as he wanted to stay outside. We eventually gave in & left the hutch door open at all times so our bunny stays out all the time cos he likes it. However, I fear we've made things worse for ourselves as now it's getting cold I want him to stay in the hutch overnight so that I can pull their windproof blind down & keep them both snug & warm. But I think we're going to have real problems with him. I can quite easily shut him in when he goes in for his food but how can I shut him in there but keep him happy about it at the same time. I don't think he's going to be impressed with me.

My cat is four years old and in good health, except that he is prone to bladder crystals. I have to keep him on a special type of dry food for this and so that he can lose weight.
However, ever since my roommate brought home a kitten, my cat won't eat his own food. He'll eat the kitten's food, which isn't good for him. I've even switched brands of cat food and by the second serving, he's turning his nose up. He's more than willing to eat table scraps and come begging when I eat, so I know he has an appetite. Why won't he eat his own food? I know it's not stress because he and the kitten get along fine and even nap together. Thanks!

I love all types of animals and watch animal planet all the time. I own and have had one dog, ride and care for horses on the weekends and don't mind blood. I had a few lizards once. I caught them in my yard. I am 10 and have wanted to be a vet for 2 years. I have studied alot about animals and know the behaviors and what they mean. Any answers from vets are also appreciated.

Every neighbour has Cats. They all seem to use my garden for defecation, and spraying Urine on my bushes.
They hunt and kill the wild birds which I feed and attract.
They are noisy and fight and mate outside the windows at night.
I absolutely hate domesticated cats with a vengeance.
I would kill them without an ounce of guilt, but I wouldn't want to upset my neighbours. If I hit one with my car, I wouldn't even bother to stop.
I would get a dog. I love dogs, but I'm out all day, and thats not fair to leave a dog on its own.
I erected trellis to stop them jumping over, but it lasted about a fortnight until a big fat white one destroyed it in a flying leap (When I was chasing it out.)
If none of your answers work, then the airgun and Black widow catapult comes out as a last measure, and I'll hang a dead cat up, to deter the rest!!! THAT'S HOW SICK I AM OF CAT MESS.

I have a house bunny (Netherlands Dwarf). During winter, my room's Temperature ranges about 65°~70°F. Is my room too cold for her? When the temperature hits 60's she likes to sit in front of the oil heater in my room. Do I need to install a heater in her cage or is she fine in the temperature range mentioned above?
