You'll have to measure your horse. Most all saddles have a measurement range they will fit.

Here's a site that may help you:

For starters a 2yr old welsh cross or anything thats NOT a TB (racehorse) should NOT be having a saddle on its back.

When it does it should have a Wintec type saddle which is light and can be adjusted as the horses size/muscle defination/general conformational changes happen.

At present it should only have, IF ANYTHING, a "pony pad" to be lunged in. But I strenuously advise that your little horse is put out to pasture for another year or so, to allow for bone growth and general maturing to occur. Warmblood types - like welshes - mature much later than the TB and need that extrea year in which to grow.

do a bit of lunging (3 -4 times a week) but no more than 15 mins at a time, get it used to having a pony pad on its back so that it gets used to the feeling of a girth and then leave it alone. Do not be in a hurry........"If you rush a horse it WILL make you wait!" think about it .
