I am needing some tack to use in 4-H. If anyone has some used tack that they no longer need, let me know. There is no used tack shops anywhere around me unless I travel for atleast 2 hours, not many horse people in my area.

A strange cat visits us every day for food. I don't know if she's a stray or not, but i'm worried she'll starve if I don't feed her. Another problem is that my other cat is scared of her and will often jump out through the window if she comes too close.

I like pets with little or no odor, is clean, affectionate, and you don't need much money to take care of it. I'd like a playful and longer living pet too. Which type of pet is best and why?

I wonder what horse size would be a good match for me -- I am 5'6", average build, and am wanting to get more serious in the sport of eventing. I have read that anything under 16.2 h is a stretch if wanting to event at higher levels. I know a lot of the "suitability" of the horse depends on its temperament. Let's assume that temperment is not a problem--what would be the ideal size/height range?

My horse is on loan to someone who thinks they know everything, but however has proved they no very little. he was lame for a year and has been back in work for about 5 months. He only gets ridden twice a week if he is lucky. The exercise is for about 1/2 hour to one hour sessions. He is then brought back to the yard and galloped around the field for 5-10 minutes. Straight after being ridden he is fed with hard feed rugged up and put back out in the field. I have tried to advise the rider that she is doing great harm to the horse but she takes no notice. perhaps there is a fact sheet i could download for her to read could someone advise.
