My dog had to be put down today. He was 17 years old. I'm 23 so I've had him almost all my life. I can't remember not having him. I feel like he was a member of my family. How can I get over his death? Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

I have had rabbits in the past but they always deposited all over the apartment - I would love to have another if we could get him/her to use a litter box.... any suggestions?

I have done all the ground work with her and she;s great,she is such a willing pony her spooking lets her down, and with this my 10 yr daughter cant ride her as at the moment.She was very wild when we first got her 4yrs ago,she really has come along way.she is riding loves hacking out but then can spook without no reason...Hope someone out there has some ideas or has a pony just like flossy.......Please get back to me :-) x

Recently came accross a video on the PETA website showing the barbaric treatment of animals on fur farms in China. I could only watch a few seconds of these poor animals literally being skinned alive. It has sickened me to my stomach. How can we stop this and why are people so cruel?

This morning my 7 year old son found a turtle in our yard. Well, I do not know a thing about taking care of a turtle. And of course he wants to keep it. I bought my female mouse from a pet store just over a week ago. When I bought her she was from a tank with 15 other mice. All female supposively! She was quite skinny when I bought her but now she is getting fat, Not chubby all over, but a very round hard tummy. I dont know why she is getting bigger everyday. She isnt running on her wheel and she sleeps constantly! Is she sick, or pregnant?? I wish I knew so I can feed her more protein and get her perpared for the birth. do you agree that Animals can ease your worries and can be simulating?. When I got upset I used to go out to my rabbit charley and hed come and sit on my lap and stay there and let me cry and cuddle him and i felt so much better afterwards.
