There is a knew type of elastic bandage called Vet Wrap. It comes in lots of different colors, and can be uses over and over. You can buy it at your local Vet supply or farmers co-op. it adheres to it's self so there is no possibility of it coming loose and slipping down. It cost about $4.00 per roll and depending how large the leg and how high you want it to go 1 roll will do 2 to 4 legs, My favorite collar is purple so i have purple and Black and Gold accessory's for my 16.5 hands high, 1800 lbs appaloosa gelding. We draw a lot of attention and get many request for Photos when we do parades and Grand Entries. Good luck

There are plenty of forms of wraps. The simple material ones individuals trip in are known as Polos. Some individuals send in simple polos, however fairly, they must be making use of delivery wraps which may also be "created" with cotton quilts beneath the polos or purchased synthetic. There also are status wraps, more than a few wound wraps, and so forth. They vary in how so much motion they enable and what they have been designed to do. They may also be kind of problematic to get on thoroughly except you have got anybody exhibit you a couple of occasions. If they're placed on incorrectly they are able to motive extra harm than they might ever wish to avert. Because of the challenge and the truth that they do in many instances slip or shift, a few individuals use Sports Medicine boots or Splint boots. Personally, I do not use any on my horses. The hazard for damage is an excessive amount of for the extent and quantity of using I do now. I could don't forget them if I have been nonetheless doing larger stages of dressage, leaping, reining or doing totally accumulated and complex activities.

I have been around horses for the past 20 years, and have used many types of wraps. I have tried vet wrap (which is EXCELLENT for cuts & bandaging), polos, and sports medicine boots. The best protection, and the most foolproof seems to be sports medicine boots. You can usually find them around $55-$75 in most tack catalogs. If you live near a big tack shop, I have picked up single boots that have lost their mate for $2. They are made of neoprene and velcro and are easy to maintain and clean. You can also pick them up at a tack swap fairly cheap. I simply put them in my washing machine. They also last forever and get better with age. Splint boots provide some protection, but not nearly as much as the sport boots. I used to use stricly polos, but you have to make sure to properly put them on. Then I heard of people who did not put them on correctly and they ended up doing more damage than good to their horse's legs. They also do not do well when wet, as opposed to sports medicine boots.

If you want a polo wrap most of those are not really durable. They come in nice colors and if you are not working with them on only useing them after working any of the polo wraps are opk. They wash up pretty well and you jusr re roll and re use.
I like darker colors myself as they are easier to clean and you have to wash less often.
For leg protection when working I prefer a splint type or soprts medicine type boot. They are fool proof put on and go. No worries is it wrapped to tight or to loose. They are easy to apply and use. Classic Equine or Professional Choice are both well made and they have several styles to choose from.
Vet wrap is great for bandaging legs and such it is not however re useable. One time shot. It is about $1.25 or so per roll.
Great for holding on leg quilts or bandages to cover injuries and such. Sticks only to itself.

There are tons of diffrent types of leg wraps and tons of diffrent brands. I would suggest going to doversaddlery.com or statelinetack.com and looking under leg wraps. They'll have lots of choices and I got my horses polo wraps, splint boots, shipping boots, bell boots, and any and all other boots that I have needed from them and they have all proven to be high quality! Good luck, I hope you find what you want!

Are you referring to sports boots? As in, support wraps while working?
Professionals Choice SMB II's are the best out there for about $65.00 US.
