i just bought some flea drops for hamsters from the pet store and my friend is taking the mickey out of me saying i have just wasted my money cos they dont get fleas.do they or dont they?

only if you don't take good care of them... you MUST clean the cage every week so to prevent things like that
YES they can get fleas but DO NOT use that spray UNLESS it gets them OK, or else it can kill it....
fleas can also suck all the blood out of it so they usually get mites which are much more smaller
MAKE SURE you follow the directions on how to use it... if your not sure ask someone in the store to show you or your vet..

They can , but its not as likley for them too. theu don`t go outside , so they don`t get them too nbad if they do get them
