My dog bit my 8 year old a couple of weeks ago, every one blamed it on my daughter, but now he has bitten a friends daughter, my husband and myself. I opted not to get him put to sleep when he bit my daughter, but now I am not sure. Is there any training methods to get him to stop? No shelters or anything in my area will take him because of aggressive behavior. I love my dog and would like him to keep him. Any suggestions?

I'm looking to get a dog who will not be yippy while I'm at work. I work long hours and the dog would be in my back yard. Need something who would need minimal exercise as I have neither the time nor energy to provide this. Also looking for a dog who won't shed badly and will be mellow and laid back. Definately no barking all day (my neighbors would no doubt kill me). S/he would be inside when I am home - a sweet little lap dog. Prefer small to medium size. Was thinking of a Min Pin/ Poodle mix. Does such a dog exists?? I sure hope so as I love the company they provide, but getting older and unable to keep up with the Black lab mixes I have now.

We are about to start out in a new venture, showing dogs. We take our dog to ringcraft lessons etc. Is it possible to over show a dog i.e how many times or how regular is it best to enter a dog in a show. Can a dog get fed up of showing or do some dogs excell the more they are shown. We have a Border Colie by the way.
