in cats. . .
would it not be better to believe than to not believe and one day be walking through your neighborhood and out jump a cat. . .then you will be sure to wish you had always believed. So believe just in case, lol.

I get it, your catless life is meaningless. But why do you have to come here and be offensive to people's beliefs? Why talk about cats if you don't believe in them? Is your life so miserable that you have to ruin others' lives as well?

Where do you guys come up with this stuff? C'mon, some one show me one solid piece of evidence from a peer reviewed journal that says that cats exist.

Of course you can't.

My neighbor takes his cat out everyday, and that's all cool, except I can't see it. Now either he has schizophrenia or cats don't exist.

And his therapist says his brain is working well. So you decide.

If there are no cats, and you don't believe in them, it doesn't matter.

But if there ARE cats, and you don't believe in them, they leave little paw prints all over your car.

So the smart move is to believe in cats, right?

If cats exist, why do we have so much misery in the world? Tsunamis and hurricanes kill hundreds of thousands, and millions are starving. Either cats don't exist, or they exist and don't care, in which case they are evil.

ok, i have 2 1 year old cats, there my life! I am recently married, going on 6 months, and at my old house my cats always used their litter box no problem. When we first moved (about 5 months ago) to this apartment they used their litter box fine... NOW they will use it, but they will also use my couch cushions, the corners, every where.. and the worse thing is, this only happens when we are home! and really it only happens after i'v gone to sleep and my husband is watching tv. I don't know if they are just trying to aggravate ofir, if they have jealousy issues, or what, but i need it to stop! i don't know how to disaplin a cat so that she'll learn, and my husband goes into mad fits and throws them out of the house which i don't like! PLEASE ANYTHING!

We've had cats for a number of years, but for some strange reason, we have massive problems with fleas and it's driving our youngest one mad (he's about 4 years old, if that matters).

We don't use flea collars, as we don't believe in them - especially as they could get hung by accident (or after hearing some horror stories, on purpose).

We've also tried a couple of flea sprays / powders, but with little success.

So, what other methods are there?
What do people recommend?
Should we take them to a vet / my mother vaguely heard that there should be an injection???

Please help!!!

First of all, let me tell you the situation where I live (not in the US). There are no shelters etc., and there are many feral cats in the streets. These cats are care for by the people, who feed them and everything, but of course there is no medical care for them and there are many accidents.
Now, to the point. I found a feral kitten recently whose eye was hanging out. It lived in a nice neighbourhood with low traffic, with other cats and kittens, eating at the tavernas there. I took it to the vet who operated the eye and neutered him. There is no question of keeping the kitten, as I have 2 already and i am not allowed or able to take more in a flat. So there are 2 options:
1. Take the kitten back to his old neighbourhood, with his family, at the place which he knows (supposing he will remember). My husband says to do that, since I wouldn't have taken it away if it was healthy.2. Take it to a friend's garden, in another neighbourhood. She feeds all the cats who come to her garden.
