We got a new kitten about 3 weeks ago. Well, all of a sudden me and my two daughters have ringworm!! Bad too....I have it in three different places and my older daughter has in in 4. My younger daughter is just developing it on her face. HELP!! Will this clear up on its own or is there something that I have to do. The vet wanted over $100 to treat both my cats so I am looking for a cheaper, at home kind thing. Thanks

Ok. so i was petting her and she enjoyed that but if you scratch her back, she will go insane, she will clean anything if we scratch her back.. it doesnt hurt her and we already went to the vet he didnt know what was happening. She only does it when we are scratching her back. Have you ever had a cat that did this... and what do you suggest to cure it?

My dog is 8 months old he will not eat. I've tried every possible dog food there is, I've tried wet and dry food. The vet tells me to mix it together which I do, that dosent work. I put food down when it's time to eat I leave it there for 1/2 hour. But he waits for table food I do not want to give him table food or train him on that.

we have had fleas in our house for a few months now, trying to get rid of them. my dogs have around 10 fleas on them everyday. one day, though, i got home and was petting my chi deuce and i noticed nothing out of the ordinary. then i saw a couple black spots on him (fleas) and took him into the bathroom to pick them off. he is a small dog, so if he has fleas, you can pretty much find them all in a couple of minutes. i picked the ones that i saw off, and as i kept going through his fur, there were more and more. eventually the fleas started falling off of him there were so many. i had to put him into the bathtub just so there werent fleas all over my floor. i got about 150 to 200 total off of him. my question is where did they all come from. its like they appeared out of thin air, and if there had been that many on him to start with, i would have noticed, because like i said, he is a chi. its like he had 10 fleas, and within 2 minutes they multiplied into 100. how is this possible?

I am so sick of my dogs behavior lately, his potty training is really digresing (im guessing because its fall, and everyone is back to school/work/etc) SO! I've decided to break down, and begin crate training. Because nothing else seems to work. I really really need some step by step help. What to do, where to do it, when to do it. Etc. Please help!

My dog is a ten month old schnoodle. I know.. he should be perfectly trained by now. =/

i have a 2 year old rotti, shes 125 lbs and we now live in a 1 story house and no fenced in yard. she gained weight from not being as active and my father cut back her food for awhile now to a half of a can of wet food and a half of a cup of dry food for breakfast and dinner...i notice sometimes she has pain in her back hip (i know its common for these dogs to have hip problems from being over weight) but before it gets worse is there anything you can suggest doing, a different food, anything? are there joint/hip meds she can take?

I live in the country and yes I am used to the coons hanging around. This particular one continues to climb up the tree which is next to the deck, climbs accross the railing, poops on it, then all over the deck .
There is no garbage or food around so no need for this.
Trapping is not the answer, done it before.
Anyone know why the **** would be doing this?
Is there something I can put out on the deck to keep it away.
Have already done the radio thing, leaving the light on and also sat up and chaced it away.
None of that has worked.
Help I hate **** poo!!!!!!!!!

Hey,
Just got two new juvie Leopard Geckos. I have been researching Leopard Geckos among other reptiles for over 5 years and don't need lectures about the care. Or anything else for that matter. I have one question and one question only.
Do you think my baby has any type of morph coloring and if so what?
Thanks

My husband and I are looking to buy a mini dachshund and I've been researching breeders in our area, but I've never bought a dog before. I don't know what to look for, the questions to ask. I don't want to support an irresponsible breeder who is only after money or get a dog that isn't healthy. What kinds of questions should I ask a breeder and is there anything I should be looking for in particular when selecting one?

would you get offended if a person tied there dog up in the park for being naughty ?

a dog jumped up at me and my dog went mad...so i tied him up for 5mins just to let him no that he cannot attack for no reason!

he was really upset and barking, but more of a high pitched bark, but i took no notice untill he stopped and then walked to him made him sit then gave him a treat and let him play again..

he did not attack again !

but i noticed that some other dog owners did not like what i was doing..

1 dog owner said that her dog goes for other dogs when other dogs jump up at her,she said her dog does not like it..so i said well i think that if you let them get away with it once then they will keep doing it!

do you think shes right to let her dog do that ?

I know that they are egg laying fish, and so do not actually get pregnant, but mine has a very swollen belly. I am not feeding them any more than usual, and that is the only fish in the tank that looks fat. So what's going on? I had thought it was a male before this happened because sometimes it's black stripes have a metallic green color to them. That only happens in males, right? I am a first time fish owner so I really don't know much about them. Please help!

My cat had a UTI infection a while ago which went away nicely with natural meds, also by switching his regular dry food with the Purina One Special Care UTI Dry food. (I have two other cats who also started eating this since they eat from same dish). However, it's been a little while now, months, since the infection went away, and I'm scared he'll get it again, so I haven't switched back to his regular food, a non-UTI food.

Would this be bad for him, and my two girls, in any way?

I don't want him to get the infection again, so is it okay to just keep feeding him the UTI dry food? They all love it, so it's not doing anything to their health or anything right?

Please answer!

Also, it's not as if they don't get enough nutrition or anything because I feed them wet canned foods as treats, and also regular treats too.

my cat has had 7 kittens, the other 6 have grown rapidly, but this one has grown only slightly and is so tiny.we keep havin to move the others and puttin the weak one on mums teat else the others barge her out of the way.also mother cat IS feeding them, but leaves them on frequent occasions which she hasnt done with past litters.can anyone give me some advice?also when the small kitten was born,i had to start it breathing and take it out of the birthsack aswell as getting it to suckle.if i keep making sure this kitten has time on the teat,is that enough to keep it alive?none of the other kittens pick on her or anything,i am just worried for her survival, growth and development

Let's say a dog (for whatever reason) went to live with a new family and was well cared for. Does the dog miss it's former owner?
