A friend of mine owned a puppy, a poodle to be exact. I had they very social dogs and love attention but my friend was always busy at school so it usually stayed at home alone the only human contact it had was when it got feed or washed. It just died this morning and she feels really guilty because she didnt give it enough attention. Do you think it was lonely and died of a broken heart or was it just sick and no one knew?

she at lest 2yrs old,so is he, an not a single egg. WHY, OH ,WHY won't my beardie lay? I have thought several times in the 9 months since I've had the pair that she was gravid but she never laid any eggs. I new to beardies, although I have done my research when first bought the pair. She doesn't care for people, maybe stress caused her not to lay? I give Dragon Dust by T-Rex, says has nutritional value needed for breeding females(growth formula). But maybe I need to give something else too?I feed veggies and crickets and mealworms. I provide light and heat(does not enough heat stop her from laying?) I bought them to breed. Any advce if I can't get them to breed on how much to ask for them if sell them as a pair?(in America?) I starting to think maybe I'm not the right one to have these guys. I paid $250 at an auction, To much or what?

My cat use to be very easy going and love to be held. I did get another cat a long time ago. He seems to be hurting. Is this dangerous. Will he attack. When I pick him up he just keeps growling v ery bad. Even when the other ct is not around. He doesn't want anyone to pat his head or anywhere. He is an outdoor/indoor cat

My parent's dog is 17 years old. She can't control either her bowels or her bladder. She cannot stand up on her own. She can walk only very short distances before falling down. She is deaf. She has very bad cataracts. She barks and moans constantly. She has neuropathy and can't move her back left leg. Clearly her quality of life is awful. Living in that condition would feel like torture, to me. It seems clear to me that the compassionate thing to do is to let the dog go.

Unfortunately, when I've brought this up to my mother, she puts up a wall and has even refused to respond to my questions. This tells me that she knows she's not being rational. For the life of me, I can't understand her hesitation. The dog is going to die, one way or another. Either you wait and let nature take it's slow, ugly course, or you let the dog pass away quickly and painlessly.

Are there any resources that I can show my parents that will make them really consider their options?

Thanks

We have a Himalayan Persian male and tortoise shell female who recently had a litter of kittens. They're now 4 weeks old. The male is desexed and isn't the father, but one of the kittens is a long-haired tortoise shell, so he may as well be. She's a really gorgeous kitten and my daughter and I would love to keep her. The men in my life say it would be too much and joke that I'll be known as 'The Cat Woman'... :) Are we being over the top? Does anyone own three cats and knows what it's like? Should we, or shouldn't we?
