If the cat isn't eating, then this is serious. She could internal problems, or sickness that needs to be dealt wtih.
Call the vet, and ask if they have payment plans if money is a concern. Call the local SPCA and see if they can help. Some shelters have problems to help owners with vet bills if they qualify.

Please take your kitty to the vet. You may be able to treat yourself, but your kitty cannot tell you what is wrong with her or where she hurts. And she cannot tell you what makes her feel better.
The brown crud in her ears could be ear mites or could be a serious ear infection. Either condition can only be confirmed by a vet by examining some of the earwax under a microscope. Both are treatable with medications, but you must get the medications from her vet. There is nothing safe to give her over the counter...and do not give her human medicines!
An ear infection would explain the lack of appetite. They are very painful. I'm glad you are buying her expensive food and treats, but since she is not eating, use some of that money for a visit to the vet.
The soreness in her back legs could be many things. Since she is not eating well, could simply be where she is getting weak and malnourished. She could be dehydrated, also. This would make her little body sore and not want to be held.
I'm glad you have a towel covered foam bed for her to lay on, that is much more comfortable than a hard surface. I keep cardboard trays and have covered foam in them for my kitties and they love their beds.
I wish we could answer your questions and help you make your kitty feel better. But we cannot over the Internet. She needs to be seen by her vet so she can be examined and maybe blood work run.
Please take her today if possible.
Purrs and prayers for you and kitty.

she's showing all the classic signs of being in severe pain, but without bringing her to the vet, it is impossible to figure out what could be wrong. it could anything from a urinary blockage to spinal spondylosis to kidney disease to eating something toxic to arthirtis - literally dozens of possibilities, all with their own way of treatment. first thing i'd do is let the vet so a physical exam so he can pinpoint what area is being affected, and then possible testing to see just what is happening (he may need to do an x-ray if he thinks it's bone/organ related and/or bloodwork to see how the organs are functioning). but your kitty cannot go on like this, and there isn't a lot you can do to help at home. her back legs may seem sore, but it doesn't mean that's what's wrong - cats will hunch & be still as a defense against the pain no matter where they hurt. but it usually takes a lot for them to get to that point, so please figure out a way to make a vet visit possible as soon as you can. there may be treatment options you can do at home once you know what's wrong. my kitty in kidney failure would cost me hundreds of dollars a month if she were to be treated just at a vet, but i give her fluids at home and make her own food & get her meds thru a human pharmacy so costs are almost nothing - your vet will do what he can to help you help your cat, including telling what (if anything) you can do on your own.
DO NOT give aspirin or any other pain meds to cats without direction from your vet...you can very quickly kill her. they aren't like dogs, who can tolerate some human pain meds - cats metabolize things very differently and at a much slower rate than dogs or humans, so a small cat-sized dose of our meds can be fatal, even something like aspirin.
good luck with your kitty.

Aspirin is toxic to cats, so that is absolutely NOT an option.
You need to take your cat to the vet. There are a multitude of reasons why she could be in pain and the only way to know for sure is to have her examined by a licensed veterinarian. There are holistic/homeopathic veterinarians in many large cities, if you are averse to Western medicine. You can search for one in your area on the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association's website:
http://www.ahvma.org/
Your cat's condition could be life threatening and you're not doing her any favors by allowing her to suffer. Take her to the vet!

Too many people say they don't want to take their cats to the vet. How else are you going to help her? How old is the cat? Is something different in her environment? She may have eaten some of the toxic cat foods that were out there. She may also have arthritis. Take her to the vet!

years ago we took in this old gray stray. the poor thing had a hernia, we figured she had survived being bitten by a dog? she acted like what your describing. we took her to a vet but because of where the hernia was the doc said it wasn't a good idea to do anything about fixing it. anyway he recommends we put her to sleep, my wife wanted time to think about it so we took her home. a few days later she died while we slept...maybe that's what yours has? A hernia?
well what ever the case don't give a cat aspirin that will kill her...

DO NOT GIVE YOUR CAT ASPIRIN!!!! it will kill it!! You will have to go with the last resort on this one and get kitty to the vet right now!!! there is nothing that any of us or even you can do for her, she needs to see the vet as soon as possible!!! Sounds like she is in very very bad shape.

If she's in pain and not eating and you don't see any obvious reason for it there could be any number of things going on. I'd take her to the vet.

sounds pretty serious, you really should take her to the vet, or risk her dying.
