My daughter found a very young baby squirrel. I think it has broken it's back legs,but it still moves around with it's front legs.How do we take care of it to make sure it lives and maybe keep as a pet. He is so cute and my kids have fallen in love with him.PLEASE HELP!!!!

I Rescued a beautiful Cat only to find he has polyps in both ears that require surgery, to the toon of 2500 dollars. What would you do? My Husband likes the Cat but does not think we should spend the money. We are not afluent, but can borough. I have tried everything The cat is on medication now.And he has already cost us about 2,000 dollars. Any thoughts will be appreciated. I do not want to put him to sleep. My brothers guinea pig doesnt seem to clean his feet as he often gets hard balls of poo rolled up, stuck to his feet next to his little front toes. We have left it too long again to clean it off and it is too hard now for me to wash it off (I am afraid of hurting him). We are gonna take him to the vets again to get his front feet cleaned and nails trimmed but could having these clumps cause any other symptoms such as swelling, numbness to the little toes or even somehow breaking the toes? Before we take him to the vets we would like to know what could be possibilities if there is something worse as a result. It doesnt seem to bother him at all but is painful to wash off (we've had them cleaned off at the vets before - this also must mean that there is feeling in his toes still, surely). It's just that when i took a look, i could manipulate his toe quite abit. Could he have lost feeling because of the clump or is this normal of guinea pig toes? Please help

I know that an actual Vet has to do surgery and other things and that a Vet. Tech. gets to do simple things and not do surgery.

Hello everyone, thanks in advance for your kind answers.

I have spoken about my cat before. He is 1 year old and should have been a dog. He eats everything. I have had to keep the bathroom doors shut, then turn kleenex boxes over and shut doors. He eats carpet fibers, tries to chew on metal and even my fridge. About a month ago, he ate my pajamas and vomitted it up and became really sick. Vet decided he probably had asthma because of the dry heaving he had. He never did it before.

Now he ate my newspaper, glad tie string to my garbage bag (he never ate that before), He ate his collar so much, it won't fit him, and he ate my throw pillows. I tried bitter apple spray and he licks it. It is not a deterant for him.

Does anyone have anything out there that I could spray on everything? He is breathing fast again and dry heaving like he did when I asked questions last time, only not as bad yet. I give him Laxair to help get rid of whatever else is in there.

They said because the landlord lives on the same property, even though we rented a house w/4 acres, she isn't responsible to pay for our dog. This was an expensive dog that was used for stud services.

my gold cresent platy just recently started eating stuff off the bottom which is gravel i don't know why because i had just recenly fed it, i thought it might have been hungry again so i put a little bit of food in but he wasn't interested at all and ive done reseach and i didn't find anywhere that they are bottom feeders i don't know if i shoud be worried or if its just a strange fish thing

3 days ago I bought a 2 gallon aquaruim kit with an undergravel filter for my Betta (yes, NOW I know they are not the best, but I didn't know that when I bought it and don't have the money to upgrade right now) but there are many bubbles coming from the filter and they stay on the top and don't brake! there just a small "calm" space for the betta to go out and breath air... how can I make the bubbles stop? :(

my puppy is 8 weeks old and we just brought him home,(2 days ago)is it too early to discipline him not to bite, he mostly does it when he plays which i know is regular puppy behavior. if so how should i do it?,currently im just telling him no sternly and it works most of the time, but sometimes it dosnt, is that enough? i herd about taping there noes when they do something wrong, but im worried it will cause aggression in him or he'll become scared of me, and i dont want that, also my puppy was born into a litter of 11 hes use to having others to sleep with, so should i sleep beside him outside the crate while hes inside so he has company? or let him rough it out alone during the night until he gets use to being alone? or should i put him in his crate in my room to sleep, ill sleep on my bed and him in the crate, what seems the best idea to do? when he grows up we're probably gonna leave sleeping in the crate optional, but he wont be allowed on the bed, just for the fact of dominance

I've done basically everything. But I can't figure out how to set up the filter and the thermometer without it being open and uneven. I've been trying to figure it out for a while and the instructions aren't much help. Its driving me insane. It says to put in the filter and the heater and then the hood...but then the hood doesn't fit...help...i want to put my betta in her tank...and its gonna take a while to stabilize...so i need to figure it out...i bought this tank about 2 and its already 7 so please help me...how do i set this up?

I just bought a 10 Gallon tank not to long ago. I had 4 bettas. Now I have 2. Damn heater killed off two of them. Anyways, Now I have my male and female in my tank together [No they don't fight.] . But I was wondering is there any other fish that I can mix in that tank?

from black to white then gold? i read up that they only change with age( live up to 20 years) but the fish that i have now is only about a year and a half.... any ideas? one of my fish just died today, from an unknown cause, could the death of the fish and the color of another be linked?

I have a 2.5 gallon fish tank and the water is 82 to degrees how do I cool the water to the seventies? I don’t have a heater so that’s not the problem. I think what is causing this is the tanks light but when I turn it of it only goes down to 80 degrees! Please help

I bought mine from Petland and whenever i tell people that, they get furious! My friend works at a petland store and there not puppy mills, they get there dogs from good breeders. I was looking at getting a dog from a breeder but really scared too!
My friend got one and the breeder "dissapeard" the puppy was sick and almost dying! Am i a bad person because I did this? I love Rupert (my new pup) and Im SO happy i got him!

So i had my dog fixed this week but ive notice twice now...once he pee'd on my bed. Not a full pee cause it only went through the comforter and tonight he had a "HAPPY pee" when i got home.
My dog NEVER ever has "happy pees" and never pee's in the house or on my bed he's trained to hold his bladder for 9-10 hrs a day.
So can getting him fixed weaken his bladder or something cause this just started happening this week when i brough him home.

She was diagnosed with hypertension a little over a year ago, and we were treating her with meds for the condition. Today she began bleeding from her mouth...we took her to the vet, but she had to be put to sleep. The answer I got from the vet just didn't really satisfy me. What could have caused this. She had appeared healthy before- no loss of appetite, etc. Has anyone out there ever lost a pet who displayed these symptoms? I need to find some closure for this painful loss.
