it depends on how many you have and how much you feed em, I have 5 beardos, a mali uro, 3 leo geckos, a frog, and an adult Veiled chameleon, plus 9 hatchlings, I get 1000 crix every to weeks from lllreptile, it comes out to 18 bucks, so I spend about 430 bucks a year on crix alone, not counting cages, lights, bulbs, electricity to run the lights 12 hrs a day every day, So it can be alot of money when you add it all up, but then of course I made 300 bucks selling baby bearded dragons, so Really last year It only cost me 130 bucks for a years worth of crix for 11 animals, that eat every day

When he was a baby, my dragon ate almost 75 crickets a day! I ordered them on line and spent about $50.00 a month. Now that he is older, he eats less, maybe $20 in insects a month. Plus, you have to buy greens and vegies and make him a fresh salad every day. Vitamins last a long time. A new UVB every 6 months is critical--depends on size $20-$40.00. Vet care yearly and twice yearly fecal checks for parasites--price varies with vet.

I used to have one.
I fed him/her crickets and mealworms.
It all depends on what you want to do.

I used to buy the crickets at apet shop for 13 for $1. or petco sells them for 10 or less for $1. ( big ones )

I ended up spending about $5-10 a week, so I just started breeding crickets - great way to save ALOT of money. or if you search on ebay, 1000 crickets is about $15. which will last you forever. the downside is they die quickly and have alot of odor if you don;t clean them.

breeding mealworms is ok if you have alot of patience.

So about 50-100 crickets weekly, and it also depends on the size of your beardie.

You can also breed cockroaches, I breed Dubia cockroaches they get to about 1.5 inches in length, pretty gross. I have cockroach phobia and I still breed them! I don't have a lizard anymore and I still breed them, but I plan on using them later on. I use a glove to take them out.
It will take you about a good month to 6 months to start having many babies..

Google breeding crickets/mealworms if you're interested.
