Emma - It looks like a great starter environment and I think they will be very happy. I can not tell from the picture, but do you have a filtration system in the tank? One that sits on the bottom (like an under gravel system) would work best for you. Keep in mind that they will grow and you may need to move them to a bigger tank in time. Best of luck with your turtles!

It's hard to see exactly what you've got there, but the size looks good for now. You will need to upgrade in the future. Particularly if you have any females. They get quite a bit larger than males...up to 12 inch carapace(top part of turtles shell) length. That is, if the species you have are RES as they appear to be in one of the pics. If you have males you may want to consider housing them singly as they tend to fight & can harass females.
I can't tell if you have this, but you'll need a filter unit of some kind unless you plan on cleaning the tank daily. Also, a tank heater would be good & get a thermometer as the heaters aren't always accurate. A stick on thermometer is fine & inexpensive. 5watts per gallon of water is rule of thumb for heater size.
Lastly, you'll need a UVB bulb if the one you're using isn't a combo UVA & UVB. 3.0 or 3% to 5.0 or 5% UVB is good for water turtles. Anything higher is for high UVB requiring reptiles like tortoises and desert lizards.
You have a pretty nice set up otherwise & your turtles should be fine until they get a little older.
Best of luck with them,
Jen

It's OK if it is a 30 gallon tank. Rule of thumb is 10 gallons per inch of shell. Make sure you are measuring the basking heat spot with a digital thermometer--too cold and the turtle can't digest food--too hot and it will stress him. Also, I don't see a UVB bulb?? Critically important. Is there a water heater and a powerful water filter? Do you change the water at least weekly? Check out this website for complete care--turtles grow up to 8 inches or more, and 3 of them will need 150 tank as adults.

Just keep in mind that within a year those 1 inch baby turtles will be 4-6 inch adult turtles.

Yes, that is a great home for 3 baby 1 inch turtles...but when they get older and grow much more.. that will be a tad too small. So start saving some money for a bigger tank. My friend has a turtle like that and it is just fine in that size of tank [its full grown] but there is only one. hope this helps you. *God loves you*

Emma, It's a little blurry, but it looks like a pretty big tank and has the rite equipment in there. For 3 1 inch turtles it's very spacious.

Yeah, for about WEEKS, don't forget they will grow very fast, and nwwd much more space, Id recommend a 40gal breeder tank for one or possibly 2.

Yes its a great home for them until there a year old at least. Then you might want to move them into a bigger cage. Oh and congrats!

if these are the one inch turtles that stay small, then yes. we had more in a plastic container with fake palm tree in college. even if they grow good for now. cant see but they do need pile of rocks to climb up on to dry out at times
