You go Holly..... Yea more birds that will eventually reach a rescue in time eh?

What's 4 or 5 more in a rescue right???

Hey, why not, maybe a few will get mutilated or splayed legged yet, because this one don't know anything yet right?

Is there enough room in the cage to fledge all the babies?

Are you sure the parents are going to rear all the babies?

Are you prepared to hand feed the babies incase the parents don't?

I sure hope so, cause be prepared for it!!

Congratulation and yes they do hatch every other day. Ain't that something? I'm taking care of 2 cockatiels that were born in august 6 and 7. Wish you luck with your babies. I know how happy you should be.

The eggs hatch 20 days from the time it was laid, and the hen lays every two days so they will hatch every two days from when the first egg hatched.
Good luck my hen just started laying eggs tuesday!!!

They hatch in the order they were laid. If there was a day in between each egg being laid, then there will be a day between them hatching. Usually it's 2-3 days between each egg laid.

congrats, and good luck. funny how you got the most negativity from the two breeders, i guess you are only qualified if you breed for profit. i agree that you should be prepared for what may happen, but i doubt that their negativity will help. what a waste of knowledge, instead of giving you advise and potentially helping your birds, they try to bring you down. i hope the birds they breed and sell, dont end up in a bad situation themselves.
