I have a 6mth old childrens python that is approx 50cm long. I feed him one fuzzy every 6 days. should I feed him more often or more food? he did get a bit snappy the day I was to feed him last week even when I didn't have any food near by

The general rule of thumb is you should see the food bump for 24-48 hours after feeding. If it is gone in 24 hours, then it is time to increase the size of the food. Do a gradual increase to avoid regurgitation. Larger prey is better than several smaller. Every 6 days sounds fine at this age.
