Is this normal? I haven't had a chance to de-flee the house yet, I'll start now though. Is this the reason why they still have them?

My mini lop buck is 5 months old and has been having multiple sneezes in a row and I have noticed a white discharge from his nose. He is eating and drinking as normal - but he must be distressed from constantly sneezing? What's the problem? Many thanks in advance x

Hey everyone,

I have 2 cats who have been indoor cats since they were born, I always lived in a building so that wasn't a problem, they're 7 years old and it's been two years since I've moved to a house with a garden, they would do anything to go out, so at first I felt sorry and let them go and I'd sit with them until it became like a habit, if they didn't go out they wouldn't stop meaw'ing (they never meaw for anything!)
So now since they've come home with lots and lots of different insects on them I bathed them, applied the appropriate medication and have not let them out since then. But just looking at them looking out the window breaks my heart.
What should I do? Is it wrong from keeping them from their natural environment? Is it not wrong because I'm protecting them from potential danger to their life? I don't know what to do! Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

I'm getting my female Chihuahua sometime this month and I'm stumped on a name. I currently have a 110 pound male Labrador named Thor and I want my Chihuahua's name to be just as special. I would like her name to be something unusual and different. I already have a few names in mind but if you have any ideas that would be great.

Hubby and I live in an apartment condo. which means no grass. Loads of walkways and areas in immediate area outside of building. We are gone to work from 7-6. Is that too much pressure to put on a dog? No children. We are quiet people. We are both loving, responsible and financially able to have a pet. Now might be the time. I'm concerned about housetraining and leaving the pet alone that long

Hihi, I live in Ireland and we live right next to a river/stream but there are rats and mice which sometimes work their way into our yard.

We have a wee Fox Terrier, but she doesn't seem bothered by the intruders, simply stares in awe(hehe)

So we were thinking we should get a cat to chase these visitors away. We rescued our dog from an old man whose sole purpose in life is to rehome abandoned animals, so we want to get a kitty from him. Seeing as he can't give us a specific breed, do you even know what traits and characteristics to look out for?

People say puppy dry food should not be fed to giant breed puppies. But others say it's ok. I'm confused.

Is this just a matter of opinion?

One breeder refuses to feed puppy food to her giant breed puppies because she thinks that feeding puppy food takes off a year of their life so you must feed dog food to puppies no matter how young it is.

Well the dog food seller said she's wrong and the puppies aren't getting the nutrients.

So who's right here? Or is it just a matter of opinion?

this isn't anything racist [as i'm half-korean myself]. but my rabbit ran out of food and it'll take about an hour to get to the mall to buy her some food [driving distance]. and i don't have a drivers license yet.
anyhow, most apartment buildings i've moved in had pesticides or something to kill off the bugs on the grass [which is harmful for my rabbit].
well recently i just moved into an apartment in a rural area. should i trust the grass anyway?

what else can I provide him with (indoors) to satisfy his need to dig and bury? Sometimes he hides it under the couch, but I don't think he's happy with that because usually he walks around with the bone, crying and whining, and only puts it under the couch as a last resort! Please share any ideas that you may have that will simulate his natural need for this type of activity. Thanks in advance!

I recently been given a basset hound. Things are going great. Last night though, I watched him go to the cat litter and get a peice of cat do do out of the kitty litter, and then drop it on the floor. I don't know if he intends on eating or just play with but I stopped him before he did anything else. Its kind of annoying because if I'm gone for a few hours, he's either eating it or leaving it on the floor. Is this normal for these types of dogs?

My female cat is in heat, and about 5 days ago she got out of the house for 4 days. She has never been an affectionate cat, but since she has come back she has become more and more agressive towards the other animals and people in the house. Earlier today her bottom lip became swollen. I'm afraid she might be rabid or something, should I keep her in lock up untill I can take her to the vet on monday? PLEASE help I love her and do not want to treat her unfairly, if she is rabid, would she already be showing symptoms, or do female cats become agressive when pregnant?
