i do have a mouse ball (same as a hamster ball but slightly smaller) but all they do is wash when they get in there

they never actually run

i would love to put a snake in there but unfortunatly the cage is too small xD

I think a bigger cage would be better, something with lots of levels. They could also do with some rodent houses that they can actually hide away in.

I had a big wire cage with three levels for my mice - they had four houses in there (one each), two food bowls, two water bottles and two wheels. They never wanted to come out!

You have got a pretty good cage there, better than most people have for their rodents I think - but mice are so active, the bigger the cage the better.

Weird how bird-owners have answered on here - I don't think mice respond the same way as birds to colours and mirrors!

Why don't you replace the tubes on the outside, and buy some tubes and put the in the cage, so they can crawl around in the cage to (I'm not talking about puting them above the cage but just laying them inside the cage)

well you can get the tubes tunnels that extend out of the cage where they can run around. Also they have little clear balls you can put them in so they can run around the house!

Add more color to the cage. My parrot was bored of his cage and I put some rainbow-colored plastic objects and a little bell. My parrot likes ringing the bell and maybe your mice will like it too. Use some paint or colored-pencils and make the cage more interesting. Animals like colors.

try getting more tubes.extend their cage by connecting the tubes.build a very sneaky kind of route with your tubes.place a mirror.(i have one in my hamster cage,,,it is with the bathtub i placed near the water bottle.)
