Not really a question. I just need someone to give me a list of good, docile and easily taken care of tarantulas that aren't too hard to find. I'm expanding my collection rapidly and hoping to find some nice breeds soon. Thanks.

Just had my 6 month old spayed on Friday and brought her home on Saturday. She seemed quite normal. Took her out to potty a few hours after getting home and her poo looked fine but the time after, and ever since then, she's had bad diarrhea. Even diarrhea'ed in the house :( . We have to constantly take her out every few hours and it doesn't appear to be getting any better yet. She also seems to struggle when pooing.

The vet that performed the procedure said that she can have her regular diet, just keep her exercise limited at first so we've been giving her her normal puppy food, just a little less than usual, and have been limiting treats and edible chew-toys.

Also as recommended, we are giving her two 37.5mg doses of Rimadyl twice a day after food.

I am by no means a vet or an expert on animal behavior or health and am starting to worry that this has been going on 3 days now. Is this something that may be typical after surgery or is this a reason of concern?

Thank you in advance

Ok, Jabba, my cat who has been sick is now feeling better. For full story you can read previous questions. Well, I'm not sure it is what the vet had stated, but he is feeling better. He has started to eat, demands food now, and he is drinking and he has went potty. Well today he has started to violently sneeze, he will just start to sneeze over and over and over and it has almost knocked him off balance. Now is the sneezing, like maybe a cold be the reason he has been sick or could the sneezing be another symptom of something else. This is the first time in the 2 years that I have had him that I have actually ever heard him sneeze. There isn't any new plants or anything like that or nothing different in the house. Just curious. Thanks!

I purchased 2 beautiful Latino Lovebirds in a local petshop two weeks ago.I was told a male and female but which one is which,I can only guess.
My biggest fear is that they will never become any more tame than they are.The hen we think is a little bit more curious than the ****, who angles as far into the corner of the cage as he can. However the hen is never to far behind.
We talk to them and try to avoid sudden movements but if we approach the cage (which is quite large) the **** is ready to fly into the corner, which makes the hen very on edge. Is there anything that can be done to tame them or will I always have two little nervous birds. Perhaps two weeks is to soon to expect anything more?

I am thinking of buying a dog for my little boy. I have done a little research, but nothing beats personal opinions from people with personal experience. I think a rat terrier is our best bet. But some of them look like a jack russel, only smaller and stockier. This is the kind I want. With SHORT hair. (I think the other ones with the disproportionate ears are unattractive.) Are they called something different? Do they have sub-categories of rat-terriers? Anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My hubby had this fish donated to his classroom by one of his students, and so it has been living in a 55 gallon during the majority of the school year. He had to tear the tank down since the school year ended, and did not want to mess with the fish as his school is 30 minutes away. I'm not maxed out on my 56 gallon, but I suspect that it would attempt to eat my corys if given half a chance. It is full grown at about 5 inches. Currently I have it in a 10 gallon that I intended for using with my corys, and unfortunately do not have another working aquarium to place it in. My other big tank cracked several years ago when I moved, darn it. It has a few guppies and a small crayfish that he couldn't give away in with it. Should I leave it, or can I get away with it in the bigger tank where I think it would be more comfy? I've got gouramies and several tetras in the 56 gallon, along with 6 corys.

We have recently adopted a kitten. She has been with us for two months now and is about 10 months old. She has adjusted very quickly, is a wonderful and very loving kitty. She seems to enjoy being the only child, but my husband and I both work full time during the week and we worry that she is lonely while we are away. She gets very excited when we come home and demands a lot of attention! She is also very excited when we come home from being away for a short period of time. She's very social and seems to enjoy company. She even loves it when guests come over. Should we get her a companion?
