I dont get it. Every time i see another pug, they are so calm. But mine is off the wall. If i leave him in my truck to go somewhere real quick he throws a fit and runs all around and slobers the windows.
And every time someone comes over he flips out and jumps all over them and runs around the house like a mad man. Ive seen plenty other pugs that act normal, but i swear mine has ADD.

He has a social lifestyle. My girlfriend and i play with him alot and we pay alot of attention to him. And he's constantly playing with our cat. How do i get him to calm down?

Okay so i have been reading around, trying to get the best things for my puppy (i take her home on the 20th, just trying to get everything ready) I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on some things like.. what flea treatment works the best for you? ( i used advantage before and it didnt seem to work all that well on my chihuahua), What type of food is good to feed a new puppy. (I cant seem to find the puppy food the breeder uses at petco or anywhere around here). Any thoughts on what works best for potty training? and any other information you can help me out with would be great. I have had puppys before, but its been a while, infact, i think this is the first time i have had MY OWN puppy and doing it on my own.. so whateverinfo you have.. would be very helpfull.

Any personal experiences will help. I really, really want a cat, but am very allergic. I'm currently doing research. Are you, or have you ever been in my position? Any people with cat allergies that now successfully own a cat? What are your secrets/ tips that might help me?

Some people tell me yes, but the Dr says no, he said she would just need a cesarian section. She is a 3.6 lb yorkie, she gained .4 after her period. Can I breed her? Have you bred a small yorkie? How much longer until she gets her 2nd period? how do you breed them?

I am very interested in getting a Ragdoll kitten. I noticed that some places recommend that you get them a companion cat if you are away from the house for long periods of time. I am wondering what consists as a "long period of time"?

I work a normal 8am to 5pm job (leave the house about 7:30am and get home at 5:00pm). My boyfriend works construction so he is very busy in the summer months (works 6am to about 3pm; the hours vary every day) but is usually home all day or most of the day in the winter months. We are usually home on the weekends other than maybe leaving to go out to eat.

Will the kitten be okay w/o a companion in this situation? Or do we need to get another cat? We are just not sure we can afford to buy 2 Ragdoll kittens at once. I suppose a cat from the humane society is always an option, if needed?! Thanks.

It's a girl, cross between a bichon frise and a japanese chin,
Mainly white with a few light brown markings around face,
It's mum is called Josie (bichon) and dad is called sushi (chin)
(It's at risk of being called petal after billy mitchell and honeys baby, but I don't like the idea of that)
Any Ideas?

if you were bit by a neibors dog. They are being really cool about it and have offered to pay all my medical cost.
I am fine with this. They did not sick the dog on me and it only bit me once so I dont feel that I was attacted by the dog just bit. Yes it is bad and it hurts really bad, I did get medical treatment a shot and some antibotitic's. I dont feel the need to sue them for any pain or suffering.
However, everyone around me my husband, mother and family all think that I should sue them. I feel that this was an accident, and that they ( the dogs owner) are handling it approperatly.

What do you think???

On saturday I am getting a 6 and a half week old pitbull/boxer mix puppy. I was always under the impression that its how you raise the dog that makes it mean or not. But I been hearing alot of things about the fight gene just being in the pitbulls and at any moment it can snap and attack even the hand that feeds it. Should I been worried? They say(besides training and how it was raised) that it really just depends on the bloodline, and how the parents were. Is this true? The litter was dumped and no one knows who they belonged to so no one knows if the parents of the litter were mean, nice or whatever. I am kinda concerned now. If I raise my pup with love and train her properly, should I still be worried?

My hamster recently died & I was going to get another one. But, then I saw dwarf rabbits at the pet store & thought I might try something new. I don't know much about dwarf rabbits. I'm just starting to look into it.

Here are some of my questions:
1. How long do dwarf rabbits live?
2. Will a dwarf rabbit be comfortable in an old hamster cage?
3. How often do I clean the cage?
4. Will the cage start to smell in my small apartment?
5. Is it better to have a male or female? Does it matter?
6. Do dwarf rabbits bite?
7. How bad do they shed?
8. Can I leave a dwarf rabbit by itself for 9 hrs a day in the cage?
9. Can I leave a dwarf rabbit by itself overnight?
10. I live by myself. Will he be mean when people want to meet him?

Any other advice when considering a dwarf rabbit?
