She is on Iams dog food . It is not cheap. I have changed her from puppy iams to 1 year iams and she may have stolen a spare rib from my daughter!!!

change of diet has done this ...you should always add new food to old a bit at a time and over a period of time change more of the new so her tummy gets used to it....also beef/pork isnt good for dogs the rib may be upsetting her tummy....if it doesnt stop within 36 hours you should take her to the vet for some antibiotics and kaolin...if she is not sick give diacalm or omodium half a tab if its upset tummy it will stop it if its more serious it wont......

If you have change dog foods recently it could be the case... I had the same problem with my Yorkie. I feed Science Diet puppy little bites... Come to find out it is too rich, and my dogs were getting diarrhea because of the richness... So my Vet told me to mix it with a cheaper Wal-Mart something... I use puppy chow. Ever since I started mixing I haven't had any trouble at all. Much easier on their bellies! Good luck!!!

It is your dog and you are responsible for the dog's welfare.
After three days of diarrhoea your dog will be starting to de-hydrate and could become very ill. She is also likely to be in pain.
If one of your children had symptoms like this I would hope that you would be doing something practical about it instead of asking total strangers for advice.
Take your dog to the Vet and find out what is wrong. At the same time ask your Vet what you should do if she has diarrhoea again.
Normally this involves starving your dog for 24 hours and then feeding a bland diet ( but ensuring that they drink plenty water during the starvation).
It's too late to do this now but you should be aware if it happens again.
The fact that she did it on the floor is tough but if she couldn't let you know she desperately needed to go - what was she supposed to do?
Take her to the Vet as soon as you can.

Sounds like a bad reaction to his food -- or table scraps! Did you change the food brand? If so, get rid of it and go back to the original one. Did he get into the garbage? Table Scraps? Think as this could also be poisoning. If absolutely nothing has changed, boil some chicken, cut into tiny pieces, place back into the broth and add some rice (chicken & rice soup without salt & pepper). Give him this for a couple of days to 'clean him out'. This was the remedy given to me by my Vet when my pup got sick. If he is no better by tomorrow morning, take him to the Vet immediately.

Have you changed her food or given her any treats lately? Has she gotten in to any human food or trash? If so, go back to the original food, and only her dog food, and her tummy should settle.
Make sure you leave water for her at all times! With diarrhea, dehydration can be a very bad risk.
Call your vet and ask what they recommend you to do. Mine recommends Pepto Bismol, but your vet may have something different and he will tell you exactly how much to give. Never medicate on your own! Make sure you get your vet's advice.

Without knowing more information as to her 'normal' routine, she may have the doggie flu, another K-9 illness of some kind or eaten something that doesn't agree with her.
Think about what she has been doing, eating, & where she has been in the past week & see what you can come up with that might be out of the ordinary.
If nothing comes to mind, a call or trip to the vet may be your only solution.
Good luck!

the dog could be trying to tell you something is wrong, and if the mess looks like diarheaa it could be wise to take the dog to see the vet. Dogs that are trained are usually very neat with their bathroom, and for them to break that tendency usually indicates that the dog is not well. For a housetrained dog to do this three days in a row is indicative of a problem. My advice would be to take the dog to a vet, as it may have anything from a stomach virus, to having come in contact with poison.

If it's in the same spot then you aren't cleaning it well enough. Do not use amonia, as that will not take the smell out. Also, change the poor dogs diet. Look into a raw foot diet. My dogs don't stink at all, their breath, skin and poo don't smell at ALL!
Re-potty train the dog so he knows he has to go outside to go potty. After all that, take him to the vet if it continues. He may be ill.

Have you changed dog food? If you have, that could be the cause. If not, 1 year is a definite time for shots and especially deworming. If none of that helps, make sure nothing harmful is within her reach to ingest.

Your dog is eating something that does not agree with her system. You should only feed her dry dog food. If wet mix it up. Also make sure other people don't give her food unless you are aware of what they are feeding her.
Don't be suprise but give her some crackers to harden her stool. It should work and plenty of fluid. And try some dog biscuits.
