usually when a male cat starts to notice a female cat in that way she is old enough to have kittens and her bpdy is emitting a scent to let male cats know that...i recommend having her spayed and him neuteured.

Like someone else said, even after they're neutered they'll do that sometimes. Just as a greeting. What I really hate is that both my cats are constantly showing me their butts. I tell them I'm not a cat and I don't care, but they just don't understand. Nothing quite like a cat butt in your face at 5 a.m.! I just make them get off me until they're done "greeting" me.

Sounds like it's time for that trip to the vet, they sound like they're starting to get old enough to be interested in making some kittens of their own.

Don't fret! It's natural. Cats emit a scent that let's others know what gender they are. There's unfortunately nothing that can be done. I know it's embarrasing but that's just the way it goes!

This is the nature of the beast. My male cat has been neutered and he is always bothering the female cat which also has been spayed.

SO?? They are just communicating. Leave them alone unless they are old enough to mate -- then get them fixed first.
