Not necessarily. I think if both her eyes are blue (after they change from kittenhood) they may be. I have a 14 yr. old all white cat. One eye is blue and the other green. He is not deaf. If she is younger than two or three months and has a small gray patch on the top of her head she won't be deaf.
No kitten should be allowed outdoors - especially through the wintertime. So she will be fine inside. I would assume that she is going to the vet for shots, worming, etc. so the vet can help you determine if she is deaf or not.

NO. Being deaf can be common in solid white cats but it's not a given. I have a solid white cat with light blue eyes and those are more common to be deaf yet he has perfect hearing.

NO, I had a pure white female with blue eyes and she was NOT deaf -- lived to be about 17 yrs old too. Get behind her and talk, see if she reacts. You can also have your Vet ck her out when you get her shots.

I adopted my solid white cat from AARF. They had both her and her sister. Neither have blue eyes and both were born deaf. Just have your vet take a look. They will be able to tell you. If she is not deaf now, she will not become deaf because of her color later.

Only if she has blue eyes or one blue eye...even then it is not a given. See the vet and they can help you figure it out.
White cats with blue eyes have a HIGHER chance of being deaf. With one blue eye, they would only be deaf on the blue eyed side. There are white cats with blue eyes that are NOT deaf, and ones that are.

Maybe she's a "ragdoll" cat.

well there is an easy way to find out, clap or make a loud sound next to her and if she is startled or anything then she isn't. it is common for white cats with blue eyes to be deaf, but it isn't 100% given.

Doesn't mean a thing, just take 'em to the vet when you need to get her shots done and have them look her over. Aww, she sounds so cute! I have a solid black cat, he's so handsome, and i LOVE his eyes, outside is yellow and inside is green, he truely is a great cat.

Does she respond to bells? Does she respond to any noises? If she responds to noises, she is not deaf.
