then why are there so many up for adoption EVERYWHERE?

If you think about it, it doesn't make sense. I think it just goes to show that it really isn't the breed, it's the owner.

If they were all that terrible wouldn't the shelters euthanize them? They all have to pass temperament testing (for the most part) right?

Ok, me, a girl named erin, a girl named dasha, and a girl named kayla were all friends. Until kayla talked about erin and dasha behind their backs and i told erin and dasha. So now erin and dasha hate kayla. BUT erin and dasha have talked about people too. From then on all of us started to ignore kayla. i still want to be her friend. Kayla left the group to a new kind of group that i want to play with. I cant play with them though cause now that kayla is over there, erin and dasha dont want to go over there and i love and dont want to lose erin and dasha. I want to be with both groups but if i go with the other group erin and dasha will get mad at me and i wont be friends with them anymore but i want to play with the other group. WHAT SHOULD I DO?????

We have 2 dogs one a beagle, one a Bull Mastif (sp?) Both dogs are neutered and the last 2 weeks have unexpectedly ran away when let out to urinate. This is uncommon behavior for them, there are no changes in the household. Might they be smelling female dogs in heat?

I went out of town for 2 weeks and had someone caring for my lovebirds when I got back they had 4 eggs that they are sitting on. Is there anything special I should do for them to prepare for babies? Is there a certian point I should take the eggs away if they dont hatch?? THANKS

I got a new 5 gallon tank for xmas for the office, and it has a pump filter and i got a heater for it (because our office gets kinda chilly in the winter time), and the gravel...... I'm used to fish, so i don't need info on how to take care of them, i just want to know what kinds of freshwater fish you'd put in a new tank if you had the opportunity?

Needless to say, this is somewhat important.

This morning I woke up to a tiny little brown and chocolate guinea pig pup scampering around in my pair's cage. The female is still somewhat plump, there's no mess in the cage, and she doesn't seem to be in any pain.

There's no panting,no tensing anywhere along her body. Quite honestly, she's just relaxing with her new pup, curled up with the little one, acting as she always does. I suspect she -is- done, but I'm not certain if sows typically keep a little extra weight on (she's not buldging as she was when she had the pup inside, obviously, but she is still plump). Is this normal? Or should I be worried?

Please help! My beta fish(which I don't know is a male or female) has a big white, pearly colored bubble that looks like embryo on its finn. And every once in awhile, there is a silver sack at the top of the tank which my friends and I thought was just poop. (but now I'm thinking it's an egg!) Am I totally crazy, or is my fish pregnant?

I live a mile from neighbours and this young adult cat turned up 5 weeks ago in our yard. He was entire so we had him neutered after we tried to find his owner. He loves humans and is very friendly and cuddly and follows us everywhere. He hates other cats and chases them and attacks them whenever he gets the chance. Two of my cats have had visits to the vet since he came. He now lives in an outhouse at night and I let the cats out and they then stay in during the day while he goes out. He doesn't roam away at all but prefers to lie on his bed in the utility room and wait for us to go and play with him and give him a cuddle. He has terrorised the cats so much that we don't know how to integrate him, or if we can do so now. We want to keep him if we can as he is so beautiful and loving to us, but don't know what to do next. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Should we ask our vet for drug treatment? Should we try and rehome him? (We have put notices up with no response so far)

I have a boxer ***** who is in heat and very much ready to be bred today is day 10 for her and she is flagging and backing up to the stud dog but he will not attemt to breed her, he is very interested in her but wont mount her. He is 5 years old and has had litters in the past. The only reason I can come up with is maybe it's b/c he's not in his normal surroundings, he was brought to my house instead of us taking her to him. He is staying with us for a few weeks. Any ideas or suggestions??

I have a five year old toy poodle who I am wanting to breed. I once heard that you should not breed a white poodle with a white poodle. My poodle is white and the poodle I am going to breed with is white and I was wondering if that would be okay? I was also wondering how many pups toy poodles usually have. My poodle weighs 8 pounds and the poodle I am going to breed with is about 5 pounds. I have never breed poodles but I have breed pit bulls for years so I don't what to expect from my poodle.

Hello! Some of you might remember that we used to have a lovely hamster named Fritz who unfortunately died of renal failure at the age of 2 years and 7 months.
Passed the Xmas holidays, we have now bought a new baby hamster - a girl this time - and she is lovely!
Katrina is 6 months old, with long black hair and a pinky nose, and she seems to be settling OK (stilla bit timid, but it is OK!)

Just wanted to say Hello!! to the hamsters lovers

Thanks xx
